This is big. A-A Weapon Integration on MIUS will be a piece of cake. All of the hard work will be done on Akıncı as a testbed.

He said "Bozdogan RF+ guided BVR missiles".In the next several years Sungur, Bozdoğan, Gökdoğan, Akdoğan and Gökhan will probably be integrated to Aselsan AESA and Baykar mission computer combo. IMHO integration of Sungur, Bozdoğan, Gökdoğan and air to ground weapon integration will be completed in 2 years. Akdoğan and Gökhan are not available at the moment so those will take time.

Japan, Akıncı. High Altitude, Long-Endurance. AESA, space for many different system integrations, configs. Very ideal for their needs. I believe they are going to acquire it. Not to forget TB3 and MIUS. China making big push for drones...

if turkey could enter the japanese market it's going to be big . but I personally don't think it might happen for 2 reason :

1- the US will force japan to reject the turkish proposal and give them a US made drone.
2- japan will reject any sales or ToT to turkey .
3- it's not good for turkey to be an enemy to china speaking politicly and economically . I would rather be on the chinese side than the japanese side .

As a Turk, I hardly believe that we were/are/will be on the Chinese side. It’s not matter of who is/are on the opposite side.

We need them they need us. They need us for one belt one road project as we are Europes gate and also our cooperation in Uyghur issue is important for them, we need them as they offer an alternative global economy that challanges USA.
Two countries also cooperate in the propaganda war of the USA.

This does not mean we will be completely submissive to them. We just need to enjoy them distracting USA from our ass.

They sold their wing loongs to UAE who used them in Libya.
I highly doubt they will make an issue of us doing the same to Japan who they arent even in a conflict with.
Give it a decade until Japan ditches USA for China lol.

It depends on how strong the Japanese nationalists have become in government now. They have been pushing to get Japan out of the US grip for years now and looking as Turkey as a major potential partner for the future.

China is far less able to exert pressure on Turkey for now than the US.

"Two Egyptian security sources said Cairo had asked the United States and some European nations to help it freeze any deal. A third Egyptian source said any agreement would have to be raised and clarified in talks between Cairo and Ankara as they try to repair ties."

Pre-purchase agreement valued at $2 billion signed between Turkey and Indonesia.

It covers the export of Turkish Offshore Patrol Vessels, Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAVs) and UCAV munitions.

If AKSUNGUR is really part of the deal, it's a huge deal for TUSAS.
great indeed, two producers of top class uav products in Turkey is kind of dream come true. top notch thing.

Unpopular opinion;
If Bayraktar sells it's minority share at a a couple billion $ and invest sizeable chunk of that to R&D of Mius and next bigger Ucav after that, that would be net positive for Turkey and UAE can make profit out of this. But Tech transfer or any control shouldn't be on table.

Baykar will break sales record in '21 and also next year guaranteed...

It says next few years for guiding Bozdogan RF Plus. What else is needed to be done after the integration of Aesa radar?
Integration of Aesa radar to an UCAV is no easy feat. These radars consume a lot of electric and produce a lot of heat to be removed. Some serious engineering problems.
