One of the reasons many countries are opting for Turkish equipment (alongside with the very competitive quality to price ratio), is the cutting of red tape and separating the sales from political motions (see KSA, UAE, Tajikistan, Serbia, and India).
Our defence industry has yet to mature enough before we can choose amongst the sales.
At the moment, every single sale is important and is at the same time great promotion/advertisement for our technology and products.
Another factor is, when you export your military equipment to a country, you get to export spare parts, add-ons, Upgrades, instrument replacements, and most importantly munitions.
That would become a point of pressure in the future, but first, our defence industry needs to mature a decade or two yet.
