Temel Kotil; We are counting the days until ANKA-3's flight. First, we made a small delta wing and flew it. We know how you fly."

Here I think he means that they are testing the scale model and the final design is being prepared for the first flight.
Nah he talks about the small model that was shown here months ago. This doesn't look like a scale model but a prototype

500 kilos less than we expected, no problem. It would be nice to increase the payload capacity and speed a bit more. That can be done with a different engine (TF6000-10000).

I think Anka-3 is only a stepping stone for a bigger, better drone in the future, maybe a strategic bomber drone.

Clearer translation would be something like: "We're counting the days until Anka-3 flies. A small scale model of it has already flown and its flight characteristics have been determined".

I guess so that justifies me. :p :sneaky:
And still TAI's roadmap is showing a larger version of this. Thus i kept wondering if will come with A-B-C versions like X-47 with different propulsion sets and bigger payload.

Most intriguing part, nevertheless, is common ground control unit. Whomever operating ANKA, may also operate this.

Anka III's operational radius is estimated to be 1852 km. This means that Anka III, which takes off from İzmir Çiğli, can travel to and from Germany. It also means that Anka III, which takes off from Diyarbakır, can be deployed to Libya without refueling.
This means a flight endurance in the range of approximately 4000 km. This also implies a longer flight endurance than Northop's technological demonstrator model X-47B and Boeing's similar study X-45 Phantom Ray.

I absolutely do not believe that TAI started this project 3 years ago. It probably has a similar project schedule to the MMU.

I wish they also talked about its dimensions or which ordinance we can use with it.

I don't think we can be sure of this. We don't usually announce demonstrators. When it's showcased to the public, it's either a mockup or a prototype of the actual product.

The scaled version that was talked about could be the demonstrator. Maybe as it was said that demonstrator already flew and this is the prototype of the full product.

There's not enough to lean one way or the other yet.

Either in December or January I remember reading about a scale version of Anka-3 flying, I don't understand why people keep thinking this is not the end product? This was never going to be a B-2, it's dimensions are pretty much on par with other delta wing drones that have been seen so far. Maybe in the future if this is successful TAI might make a bigger version but this is most likely it.

Of course there might be changes between this prototype and serial production model but I doubt there'll be radical changes. Thinking they'd make a demonstration model this big is just ridiculous.
