Obviously MALE drones are susceptible to a variety of theats and have been shot down by various forces across the middle east for some time.

But, there's some concerns that need to be addressed in regards to the recent increase in shootdowns.

  1. Who's supplying the weapons and how can the flow or production be stopped? We know that Iran provides 358 missiles, have we done anything to stop the flow?
  2. Will Antidot and other countermeasure systems be able to neutralize threats from 358 missiles or other anti-UCAV systems that PKK may possess?
  3. Will Anka-3 be able to avoid shootdowns? Have we done anything to reduce its infrared signature?
  4. What's going to stop state actors from possessing weapon systems that can couneract our drones? Iran has probably sold it Armenia, what about other regional enemies?

We had a huge advantage in 2020, now back to the drawing board. This is what happens when we don't act. We let our enemies arm themselves, when in reality we should've crushed them swiftly like Israel is doing.

I did not see Targeting pod like CATS, can it be true that Toygun being used?

Um, what do you think that thing protruding from its undercarriage is? Also, I don't think we have seen any indication that Toygun is actually ready, have we?

Edit: I stand corrected, it's apparently LOS antenna.

Nope.

LOS antenna.

Anka-3 is biding its time doing useless chores in these tests while necessary capabilities in Toygun and Karat are being built. A flying wing aircraft striking a target lased by another non stealthy aircraft is basically useless. This is not how we're going to use Anka-3 at all.

Serial production 85th AKINCI
Much, much less than I anticipated. I think Army have less than 20 in service.

You can't just reach a destination from an airplane; but with ground troops or with Atak helicopters.

for your information: the ATAK is no longer audible from 3 kilometers from the target. Bayraktar and AKINCI can also laser the target outside the AD.

What is the point of using a low observable high value flying wing ucav if you can infiltrate that deep with ground troops or even attack helicopters.

This thing in its final form will be able to visit Morea and back. But our tech is simply not there yet.

AKINCI as well as tb2 designate well within radar range of any medium range ad only with ew they have a chance as we saw in Libya and Syria.
Anka3 is designed to engage high value targets while being in enemy controlled airspace.
To do that its stealth can’t be compromised that’s why toygun is important it’s basically an aselflir with stealth.

Do you want to carry an LGK-equipped Mk bomb with ground troops or load it with ATAK?

Laser marking is usually done with ÖKK and 2 or 3 soldiers.

Why can't they manage to sink the engine into the airframe, if only to reduce the RCS? It looks totally unclean when the engine protrudes.
The same can be seen on the Kizilelma.
