UAV-122 is such a great option to have for our drones, 50 km range is great as well. Anka should be able to carry 4 of this I think.
it needs laser illumination for terminal guidance though. aselflir 500 can point the target from 35km at maximum. we need cheap, smaller UAVs with laser designator to not risk losing tactical drones like TB2.UAV-122 is such a great option to have for our drones, 50 km range is great as well. Not necessarily, it can also attack at coordinates if it is like UAV-230. Laser would come into play, imo, if we are attacking at something moving.it needs laser illumination for terminal guidance though. aselflir 500 can point the target from 35km at maximum. we need cheap, smaller UAVs with laser designator to not risk losing tactical drones like TB2.

kemankeş has laser rangefinder, not a laser illuminator. I was thinking of a hovering platform, much like Kalkan VTOL.How about using Kemankeş, or a similar munition with a laser illuminator ? A parachuted TR-122 is a ballistic missile with a different payload, and this completely redefines its mission. Similarly, why not send ten Kemankeş to the front lines and launch laser-guided missiles continuously whenever a Kemankeş acquires a target ? Those can stay airborne for an hour. This both reduces the risk of losing a TB-2 and helps to lock onto more than one target at a time without filling the sky with large UAV's.

Akinci can succeed. His flight altitude is much higherIntresting, it drop it from low altitude and the missile did go to high altitude to fly to the target. What if TB3 was max altitude was the range 100km?
I think after seeing so many jets and helicopters fly incredibly low to avoid radar detection before attacking in Ukraine, I appreciate this test more.

What is the detection range of radars for objects at 91 meters of altitude?
Not possible to tell as it is highly dependent on the radar and target. However, you can calculate the line of sight to be about 40km.What is the detection range of radars for objects at 91 meters of altitude?
