No. What I’m saying is that the likes of US or France no longer do the atrocities they did 50 years ago.
Yikes.

US soldiers 'killed Afghan civilians for sport and collected fingers as trophies'

The Kill Team: How U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan Murdered Innocent CiviliansPlus: An exclusive look at the war crime images the Pentagon tried to censor

Images of rape and torture are among photographs of abuse at Abu Ghraib jail in Iraq that Barack Obama is blocking from release, a former general claimed today.
One photo reportedly shows an American soldier raping a female prisoner and another was said to show a translator raping a male detainee.

Because the public is more informed and the feedback from regular people to the political class is much stronger now due to technology, democratic countries must be a lot more careful when it comes to doing atrocities. This is why they haven’t done anything similar in the last few decades. On the other hand,
Early in the Russian war, I remember people calling for mass arrest and persecution of ordinary Russians in response to the war. Technology, democracy whatsoever has no effect on savagery. There's even a fight, I believe in Turkiye between Europeans against Russian tourist there.
for autocracies like Russia and China there is no pressure from the public, so their leaders are free to act like in the past with no concern for human life or even their own image.
Why should they ? Nobody else is doing it lmao.
I’m just saying that democratic countries act in a more civilized way today, because it is harder for their leaders to get away with atrocities like they did in the past. There is no such barrier for the likes of Putin.

If the West is civilized , than Russia is civilized too, because what they're doing, they just happen to be doing the exact same kind as you do. Maybe Putin should start issuing medals hehe.

Guide to how Russians behave in warzones:

Antitank into an ambulance surrounded by medics and aid workers:

Everyone is subject to being killed

Not saying others don't do similar things, the difference is that while some are separated to other needs, some are graced with medals and unfortunate comments.

There is a clear line between civilized people and those who doesn't care about humanity, maybe many years would need to realize it:

A 240-mm M-240 towed mortar of the 1950 model, existing in several copies in Ukraine, was hit by a kamikaze drone Lancet. The mortar was supposedly in the museum, but it was decided to use it in the fighting, judging by the impact, the mortar received light damage.

Exit from Bakhmut by separate units of the Ukrainian army. Ukrainian troops began to leave Bakhmut, it is not yet clear whether this is the withdrawal of all troops or the withdrawal of individual units. The video shows some Ukrainian servicemen leaving Bakhmut (Artyomovsk).

Wagner appreciated the self-propelled anti-tank complex "Shturm-S" of Russia. Earlier we talked about the 9P149 combat vehicle, detailed technical information about it is in the link to the video in the comments of the video. The vehicle has an ammunition capacity of 12 Shturm missiles and works well from ambushes against armored vehicles.

You present events from half a century ago. I was talking about recent decades, when the US greatly improved accuracy and efficiency, and has a professional military without recruits.

This century it’s only the Russians doing this kind of staff, as they remained stuck in the last century.

Yah mate so professional look up the cavalese cable car disaster how the americans aquitted their own pilots even try to cover up the incident.

Numerous incidents like this.

A good example Turks directly witnessed in idlib concerns when they bombed Turkish troops. The Turks and Russians had an agreement where Turkiye would give the co-ordinates to Russia of their troop movements and deployments to avoid the Russians bombing Turkish troops. On this occasion they took those co-oridinates that Turks supplied them and used them to directly bomb and kill our troops. Anyway the dead and many injured needed to be recovered but the Russians wouldn't allow us to send helicopters in to rescue them, basically implying they would be shot down. So instead it took much longer for ambulances to go in, once the ambulances went in what the did the Russians do? They bombed the ambulances. This incident could have led to a full blown war with Russia, the atmosphere was so bad among the Turkish people, literally people were rushing to the border demanding to be enlisted to join the war that hadn't been declared.

That is the shitty, evil, unhonourable, and low life trashy mindset of the Russian establishment.

That's why in Ukraine only a bullets in their heads will do, no agreements, no discussions, just bullets. These people are the most morally bankrupt people on earth and the most opportunistic. You show one moment of goodwill and they will exploit it to its fullest to screw you.

This is why i have always taken the position that Turkiye should be doing everything in their power to help Ukraine win 100%, because every time you are good to the Russians you pay for it.

Russia lost more than a thousand soldiers for two days

Also on Saturday, the Russian invaders lost 26 pieces of military equipment, including eight tanks.

Over the past day, the Russian aggressors have lost at least 1090 killed. Losses have exceeded a thousand people for two days in a row, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Sunday, March 12.

92 Russian attacks repulsed in Donbas

Ukrainian Armed Forces hold back enemy attacks in Donbass

Aviation of the Defense Forces and artillery inflicted 10 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy.

Over the past day, Ukrainian servicemen repelled 92 attacks by Russian invaders in Donbas, and also destroyed one ammunition depot and two enemy electronic warfare stations. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary on Sunday, March 12.

You really think Kinzhals is a factor?
Germany had V2 that GB had no way to counter. So what?
And Germans had more V2 then russia have Kinzhals right now.
it seems I missed this post but kinzhal according to sources is being produced more than 50 times the amount that I posted here awhile back. Just like people here believed that T-14s, tornado MLRS systems and Pantsir-sm systems would remain in limited numbers somehow their sources later state they have over 100 units of each and are starting production and they are starting to re-open many ammunition supply production facilities to deal with their shell hunger problem despite already having the existing artillery firepower advantage in bombing the crap out of the Ukrainians hence which is why we see Wagner whom still have a considerably smaller force pushing the AFU back.

On the sources I have found the max G loads are 25 units for the patriots. https://en.missilery.info/missile/patriot the Russians claim according to the source I have posted awhile back that the interceptor missiles have to have G-loads that are twice as high as the maneuvering missile they would try to intercept. https://www.techinsider.ru/weapon/8...ivnaya-strategiya/?ysclid=lf5i503ayx477933848 Iskander is like 20-30 G units and even than the missile is coated with RAM for a reduced RCS. The max speed of the Patriot SAM interceptors is like Mach 3 as in their is probably no way in hell a pigeon could catch a pigeon that is attached to a rocket offering the same evasive G load maneuver turns than the pigeon not attached to a rocket. The Russians have created SAM interceptors that are like hummingbirds to catch pigeons. It doesn't even matter if the US patriots have better electronics for better radars and radar homing heads because its more of a physical design capability problem. HTV-2 project reached 30% of its flight path to its intended target goal and then they cancelled it for lower speed HGV projects while the Russians were successful with Avangard. Some countries have limitations and others don't in their capabilities. Russians like to plan ahead when they make their military projects like creating quad pack mini missiles to deal with drones for pantsir.

As of now I would recommend NATO to make something similar to pantsir, tor, vityaz and buk which is a basic requirement than something complex for them like quad pack mini-SAMs, because it's not going to be a smart war where Iranian drones start getting produced more than before and the west is willing to spend SAM interceptors that cost a few million dollars against 30,000-dollar drones. Hope the patriots like the HIMARS will not just stay there to look cool for aesthetics.

The examples you give are exceptions to the rule, when low level officers made some terrible things. They are not huge campaigns of turning cities into rubble sanctioned by the higher ups. While the Americans are no angels, their military doctrine is not about killing everything indiscriminately in order to terrify the enemy.

And also, the atrocities you mentioned were uncovered by Western media, so you know about them because the media in the West is more independent and presents even the negative things. You will never see Russian media present the crimes and abuses of the Russian military.

If the West is civilized , than Russia is civilized too, because what they're doing, they just happen to be doing the exact same kind as you do. Maybe Putin should start issuing medals hehe.

You have no idea about how evil Russia is, this is why you compare it with the West.

In WW2, my country has fought on both sides, first with the Germans against the Soviets and then with the Soviets against the Germans. All the elederly people who lived during the war had the same stories: the Germans were fair, they traded with the local peasants and were disciplined while the Russians were brutish, they stole, raped and abused everyone.

There was even a saying regarding the friendship with the Russians. It was like that: “Give me your watch, give me your wife, this is what camaraderie means.” (because Russians were known for confiscating watches and for raping women).

Historically we had conflicts with various powers (and we’ve also been bombed by the Americans in WW2), but nobody was as bad as the Russians. Imagine how awful you must be if people who lived during WW2 were saying Germans were like nobleban in comparison to you.

That was a terrible accident, and a shameful cover up, but it was not something done with intent, like the bombing of Mariupol. Accidents are different from deliberate actions.

Well said! If only more people would understand this.

Totally agree with you.

World analysis saying that loss combat ratio is 7:1
7 russians die against only 1 Ukraine soldiers die
