Dear is it possible Spain create F/18 coalition with Finland for Ukraine?
Is there any chance you transfer FA18s to Ukraine?

All depends on political will, rigth now our politicians are saying, we won't provide because UKR only wants F-16 and we don't have, but you know these things change from one day to another.

I can tell you that, a few "3-4" F-18's were already removed from Canary Islands for informal decommission. And there are contracts an plans for new ones about replacing the entire fleet of F18.

So in my opinion we are in good position to donate F18, but let's see.

Looking at the war in Ukraine and the sanctions that comes out of it, its wise that countries start to dismantle the order little by little by creating an order of their own with their own set of rules. Even if it take time.

ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Banks Consider Dropping US Dollar, Euro and Yen, Indonesia Calls for Phasing Out Visa and Mastercard

  • March 29, 2023
Posted by ASEAN Briefing ,Written byChris Devonshire-Ellis Reading Time:2 minutes

An official meeting of all ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors kicked off on Tuesday (March 28) in Indonesia. Top of the agenda are discussions to reduce dependence on the US Dollar, Euro, Yen, and British Pound from financial transactions and move to settlements in local currencies.
The meeting discussed efforts to reduce dependence on major currencies through the Local Currency Transaction (LCT) scheme. This is an extension of the previous Local Currency Settlement (LCS) scheme that has already begun to be implemented between ASEAN members.
This means that an ASEAN cross-border digital payment system would be expanded further and allow ASEAN states to use local currencies for trade. An agreement

on such cooperation was reached between Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand in November 2022. This follows from Indonesia’s banking regulator, stating on March 27 that the Bank of Indonesia is preparing to introduce its own domestic payment system.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo has urged regional administrations to start using credit cards issued by local banks and gradually stop using foreign payment systems. He argued that Indonesia needed to shield itself from geopolitical disruptions, citing the sanctions targeting Russia’s financial sector from the US, EU, and their allies over the conflict in Ukraine.

Moving away from Western payment systems is necessary to protect transactions from “possible geopolitical repercussions,”
Widodo said.
Of the ASEAN nations, just Singapore has enforced sanctions on Russia, while all other ASEAN nations continue to trade with the country. There has been alarm at being caught up in US-led secondary sanctions, as are short to impact Central and South Asia countries involved in cotton manufacturing, a major industry in the region employing millions of people.

Foreign investors in Asia may wish to consider the amount of US dollars, Euros and Yen held in their accounts in light of a pending ASEAN currency trade decision. Professional discussions should be taken regarding any movement of company funds to alternative currencies.

Interesting article from WSJ:

Investment is down, labor is scarce, budget is squeezed. Oligarch: ‘There will be no money next year’

Last week Putin was denying any influence of western sanctions. This week Putin is accepting that they are hurting the Federation, and would be more significant on the midterm. It seems he is preparing the population for more sacrifices.

They should just use Bitcoin for trade, instead of using the US dollar. No more sanctions, no more forced kyk, blocked accounts or blocked transactions.

It’s senseless to try to make new arrangements to trade in very weak local currencies that nobody trusts, instead of moving directly to the superior currency which will end up being the future reserve currency anyway.

There’s already an alternative to the US dollar hegemoney. Bitcoin is better than the dollar, and is controlled by nobody. Governments should simply be brave enough to adopt it, like Bukele did in El Salvador.

Have fun guys...
putin army attack and all of junk tank meet Jevinlin

Since the outset of the conflict the Russian simps have been routinely claiming that the West is not only greatly exaggerating the quantity of Russian armor that Ukraine has destroyed, but also that we've all been exaggerating the effectiveness of systems such as the Western made Javelin and NLAW ATGMs. When you see videos like these, you get a full picture of the devastation that is being caused by these systems and how much Russian armor is getting chewed up, at a relatively cheap and replaceable cost to the West.

USA has sent close to 9000 Javelins to Ukraine
UK, Sweden, Luxembourg have sent more than 7000 NLAWs to Ukraine

That doesn't include French made Milans, German made Panzerfaust 3's, nor thousands of TOW missiles also capable of defeating MBTs and all models of Russian IFVs as well.

Ukraine is likely to still have thousands of Javelins and NLAWs left, spread across their defensive front, fully prepared to chew up Russian armor as it advances. They'll soon add more TOW missiles launched from Humvees and Bradleys, and S600 Kamikaze drones that will take out all forms of Russian armor as well.

Russia's plan to conquer Ukraine using conventional armor is a complete disaster. The West spent decades designing relatively cheap, anti-armor weapons, designed to completely massacre Russians in a potential armored offensive. If Ukraine can continue to decimate Russian artillery through counter battery fire and by using drone and HIMARs strikes, Russia will have no choice but to advance with armor, devoid of artillery cover. They're going to be slaughtered like sheep.

he has a lot of error, but some of his statements are right...there's a lot of bigger criminals out there without an ICC warrant. Just sayin.

and the hypocrites really don't like it when they're warned. You know who you are.

Source.

Regarding Spanish Leopards 2A4, 6 are already doing firing tests for being delivered late next week. 4 more are already on the repair workshop.

I think in late April we would see some good activity coming from UKR.
