Alexander Litvenko got killed in the most awful way.

But world leaders still shook Putins hand. Are now crying crocodile tears over Navalny.

By the way it was the Russians who blew up the Polish plane which killed not only their president but higher echelons in 2010.

Guess who was covering up for the Russians it was the EU man called Donald Tusk.
Everyone involved is only concerned about what's in their best interest... As they should be. Make no mistake about it, the West's goal of neutering the Russian army via the destruction of the Soviet stockpile, is only relevant now because of Russia's westward expansionist desires and their loose alliance with China, North Korea and Iran.

The West is simply taking the opportunity to leverage a misstep / miscalculation by Russia and make them pay dearly on the world stage, through a proxy nation that is willing to fight its own war, with only a fraction of what the West is capable of providing them.

Czech 🇨🇿 President Peter Pavel announced that the Czech Republic has identified 500,000 155mm artillery shells and 300,000 122mm artillery shells available for immediate purchase OUTSIDE of the European Union 🇪🇺. He indicated that they could be purchased and transferred to Ukraine within weeks, if the Czechs can get support from some of their wealthier partners, both in the purchase and transfer departments. He noted countries such as Denmark 🇩🇰 , Canada 🇨🇦 and Netherlands 🇳🇴 , Germany 🇩🇪, Sweden 🇸🇪 and the United States 🇺🇸 that the Czechs would ask to help fund the purchase and transfer of the shells... The reason he mentioned those countries by name is that all of them are examples of countries that have committed to providing sums of money worth of aid to Ukraine in 2024, but have not announced equipment, supplies and ammunition that much those contribution totals. Therefore, there is budgeted money to be spent and this purchase would allow Ukraine to fire an additional 4500 shells per day (tripling their current total), EVERY DAY, for the next 6 months, while more an more European and American ammunition production comes on line.

One can only hope that politics and the burning desire to purchase as much as possible domestically, won't cause the West to lose sight of a relatively cheap opportunity to give Ukraine a significant boost to their war effort over the first half of this year.

I don't know this Navalny guy nor I like Putin much but to get rid of some clowns, generally is very good idea. Nowadays, there are plenty destructive factors around.

This morning the Ukrainian 🇺🇦 Air Force claims to gave shot down 3 Russian military aircraft, including 2 Su-34 fighter / bombers and a Su-35s strike aircraft. Ukraine has released audio of Russian communications referencing 4 ejections and they claim to have tracked the ejections and have released geolocations of where the Russians should "look for their colleagues".

Meanwhile, Russia 🇷🇺 concedes that one of their Su-34s was indeed shot down, but it denies the claim that the other Su-34 and the Su-35S were shot down.

While Ukraine appears to be willing to share evidence and Russia won't, until there is more confirmation, it's not yet known what side is being truthful.

The difference in value between Ukrainian story and the Russian story is significant.

2 Su-34 + 1 Su-35S = approximately $160 million usd, not counting the ordinance on board, or the value of the pilots.

1 Su-34 = $40 million usd, not counting the ordinance on board, or the value of the pilots.

The situation in Ukraine sounds increasingly tense, with Russian military movements near the border and international airspace encounters raising concerns. The involvement of Serbian volunteers adds to the complexity, underscoring the need for diplomatic resolution and de-escalation efforts to prevent further conflict.

Footage of a group of Ukrainian soldiers leaving Avdeevka. Military personnel use the Dutch YPR-765 tracked armored vehicles developed in 1970, we previously talked about them. Also in the video you can see two Ukrainian tanks leaving Avdiivka, one of them is on fire, apparently the tank came under attack from an FPV drone. Avdiivka is considered the main fortified area of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass; it was created in 2014.

Navalny refering to Muslims as cockroaches. The entire Russian political spectrum is rotten and racist to the core.

BTW the Russian ruling class have always looked at Muslims as cockroaches. Muslim don't waste your time and energy shilling for these shitheads. Don't be their useful idiots. While you waste your time and energy propagandising for these people, off camera they see you all as subhuman. You want to propagandise for someone, you want to defend someone, use your energy defending Turkey. If Turks improve their position its inevitable it will improve the entire Muslim condition.

Navalny can go to hell.

He is a paid Western paw like that other 'heroic' oppositionleader in Venezuela who was supported by the West against Maduro. Where is that guy now?

Or the 'heroic' Iraqi opposition located in Miami that produced fantastic horrorstories about Saddam Hussein. They demanded that Iraq should be attacked. Well, Iraq was attacked, 1 million people killed and Saddam was toppled down. Did the Iraqi opposition returned to their freed Iraq?

Afcourse not.

Why does the West not support Julian Assange of Edward Snowden if they are really into this freedom nonsense?

Who the heck is Navalny that i put my relations with another country in danger?

The West is playing their classic divide and conquer game over and over again and everyone is eating it over and over again.

For the last time... The West doesn't care about arbitrary freedom.

We care about our own selfish interests, as does everyone else in the world. We're simply getting an exceptional price to neuter the Russian army for a generation, expand NATO on Russia's border and piss Putin off to no end, while he gets to play the role of "bad guy" because he started this conflict.

Ukrainians, who are fighting for the ability to determine their own future and not wind up a vasal state of Russia, like Belarus, are willing to die in defense of their country. We're getting a historically cheap price to hurt Russia and we don't even have to put the lives of our military personnel on the line because somebody else is willing to do that instead? Who wouldn't take that deal!?

By time the costs are split up between the various countries helping Ukraine (many of whom have big economies), the relative cost is peanuts.

Ukraine will just become a vasal state of the United States of America/the West. The Debit they have already racked up in this war is astronomical. My point is this; sure the Ukrainians are happy to fight a battle against the Russians whom invaded them. However, should they win this war, they will be far from "free" in terms of how their culture and society has been effected by this war. My fear is that at the end of this war, should Ukraine win, Ukraine, due to the destruction of its infrastructure and working-age male society, will in-turn be forced to be tied by the neck to cooperate America's interest.

Need a new road? or to fix the cities and towns that were destroyed in the war? or to rebuild heath-care and social services? These questions will be answered by American Business, creating American jobs, and funding/reimbursing the American economy. I'm not sure I would count that as making Ukraine "free" although perhaps it is a less bitter hell then the one Russia would impose on Ukraine, should they lose.

It seems to me that Ukraine is in a terrible situation regardless, and no matter what side "wins" in this conflict, the average Ukrainian will be the one to suffer.

Throughout the war in Ukraine, France 🇫🇷 has supplied a variety of military hardware, however, they've rarely disclosed quantities in real time... Until now. Paris has released a full list of items that they have donated to Ukraine, or have committed to donate to Ukraine.

1x SAMP-T air defense battery, with ASTER 30 air defense missiles.

2x Crotale NG air defense systems, with air defense missiles.

5x Mistral air defense systems, with mistrial air defense missiles.

1x GM 200 Air Defense RADAR.

100x SCALP-EG cruise missiles.

"Hundreds" of A2SM Bombs.

30x CAESAR, 155mm self-propelled howitzers.

6x TRF1, 155mm towed howitzers.

4x LRU (M270) rocket artillery.

30x AMX-10RC, armored fighting vehicles.

250x VAB, armored personnel carriers.

120x VLTT P4, all terrain vehicles.

17x MILAN, anti-tank guided missile systems and anti-tank missiles.

"Hundreds" of Javelin, anti armor missiles and an undisclosed quantity of launchers.

"Thousands" of HPD2A2 anti-armor mines.

AA-52, 7.62mm machine guns.

FN MAG, 7.62mm general purpose machine guns.

"Thousands" of 155mm artillery shells. France will deliver Ukraine 3000 additional shells per month in 2024.

Note: France has also purchased 12 additional CAESAR, 155mm howitzers for Ukraine (42 total) and will build 78 total units this year, looking for buyers to purchase them and deliver them to Ukraine. The Ukrainians themselves have purchased the first 6 units, but there are 60 additional units that require purchasing.

When USA 🇺🇸 eventually passes their new funding for Ukraine, there will be approximately $33 Billion usd in Presidential Drawdown Authority and USAI for Ukraine available. Here is a sneak peak of what items USA can send in the immediacy to make a difference and replenish Ukraine's Brigade combat capability.

1x Patriot air defense battery, with spare parts.
Total cost: $1.2 Billion usd.

200x Bradley M2ODS, IFVs, along with 25mm ammunition, TOW missiles, and spare parts.
Total cost: $800 million usd.

100x Stryker, APCs, along with 12.7mm ammunition and spare parts.
Total cost: $550 million usd.

200x M198, 155mm towed howitzers, with spare parts and vehicles to tow them.
Total cost: $150 million usd.

200x M113, armored personnel carrier, with ammunition and spare parts.
Total Cost: $40 million usd.

36x M109A6, 155mm self-propelled howitzers, with spare parts.

Total cost: $120 million usd.

500,000x 155mm artillery shells.
Total cost: $1.5 billion usd.

100,000x 105mm artillery shells.
Total cost: $150 million usd.

2000x Excalibur, GPS guided, 155mm artillery shells.
Total cost: $200 million usd.

50,000x 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortar rounds.
Total cost: $50 million usd.

2000x GMLRS for HIMARS.
Total cost: $200 million usd.

1000x GLSDB for HIMARS.
Total cost: $40 million usd.

1000x Javelin anti- armor missiles.

Total cost: $78 million usd.

5000x AT4 anti-armor rockets.
Total cost: $7.5 million usd.

5000x Hydra 70 aviation rockets.

Total cost: $250 million usd.

100x JASSM cruise missiles.
Total cost: $150 million usd.

1000x Mark 84 2000 bombs + JDAMs.
Total cost: $51 million usd.

100x ATACMS missiles.
Total cost: $150 million usd.

300x Stinger anti-aircraft missiles.
Total cost: $120 million usd.

50,000,000x small arms rounds.
Total cost: $55 million usd.

200x PAC-3 Patriot air defense missiles.
Total cost: $400 million usd.

500x AIM-7 / RIM-7 air defense missiles.
Total cost: $63 million usd.

1000x Switchblade 600 anti-armor drones.
Total cost: $80 million usd.

20,000 DJI FPV Drones.
Total cost: $20 million usd.

Pilot / maintainer training and spare parts for F-16s.
Total cost: $100 million usd.

Total Cost: $7.62 Billion usd.

That $7.62 Billion usd, out of $33 billion usd worth of Presidential Drawdown Authority and USAI is where I would start. It's essentially a replenishment package of vehicles and munitions that Ukraine already fields successfully, with a couple new weapons mixed in, mainly for their new F-16s.

❗️The most dangerous situation since the beginning of the war: the Russian Federation is advancing in 5 directions at once, - NYT.

▪️These are the Avdiiv, Mar'in, Robotyn, Kremin and Bakhmut directions;

▪️ the Russian Federation is trying to return the territories that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated during counteroffensives in 2022 and 2023;

▪️The capture of Avdiivka is the first significant victory of the Russian army since May 2023, when they captured Bakhmut;

▪️ Russia has accumulated up to 40,000 troops in the Mariupol region for an assault and about 110,000 in the Kupyansk and Lyman areas;

▪️Ukraine's attempts to capture the flanks around Bakhmut have stalled. The initiative passed to the Russian Federation.

I think Navalny was killed. I also think that with his death died any prospects of organised resistance to the corrupt, authoritarian Russian regime. Even if Putin dies or is overthrown, he will probably be replaced by another corrupt, authoritarian dictator.
Navalny is an old man at 47, that is a prime age to die.
I don't know how vicious was the regime of the last Czar but he fell when Russia was losing badly in the First World War. Perhaps the whole, rotten, Russian regime could come to an end if Russia started losing badly enough in Ukraine and the army and downtrodden people of Russia turned against the regime and revolted.

I think Putin is the misunderstood brave leader type by the West. He thinks deeply for the well being of his country and that sure translate to no one (in majority) in Russia actually thinks about ending the 'Russian regime', 2 years into the war and the Russians are as loyal as ever, even after disastrous start in the first year.

The fantasy where Russians turn against their own leader exists only in Western fantasy. That they keep repeating it again and again
