How many kids died in the Kiev pediatric hospital today thanks to Russian Kinzhals? I bet that these Ukrainians Nazis were hiding munitions next to the hemodialisys machines and the MRIs...

In Kyiv, the death toll increased to 27, including three children.

Plus in Dnepr Region 11 people killed.

More than 170 people were injured.

An attack on a maternity hospital, as well as a children’s hospital, is unfortunately not the first time that this has happened during the war.

US is preventing Ukraine defending itself from attack by restricting use of the long range strike weapons it supplied (eg ATACMS). The US may not have attacked a children's hospital in Ukraine but they have made it easy for Russia to attack Ukraine and very difficult for Ukraine to hit back at the bases from which those attacks are launched.

Whose side is America on? Ukraine's? Yes. Russia's? Yes. America's position is absurd.

NATO spending continues to be announced at an insane rate. Take Italy 🇮🇹 for example. They just announced that they're spending $8 Billion usd to purchase 24 additional Eurofighter Typhoons and 132 Leopard 2A8IT MBTs which will cost more than $15 Billion usd. They then announced the purchase of 350 Lynx IFVs along with 200 Panther KF-51 MBTs for $21.6 Billion usd.

Russia has officially woken NATO up out of its slumber. Announced spending on new projects since the Russian invasion of Ukraine will surpass $1 Trillion usd this week at the summit in Washington.

All the more reasons for countries such as Britain 🇬🇧, Germany 🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Canada 🇨🇦, Spain 🇪🇸, Poland 🇵🇱, Sweden 🇸🇪 and The Netherlands 🇳🇱 to get off their respective asses and put up $900 Million usd each for the purchase of long range weapons made in Europe and abroad. Stop counting on USA 🇺🇸 for everything and put together a meaningful $8 Billion usd fund that would supply Ukraine with numerous years worth of long range strike weapons capable of hitting Russian bases, military targets and energy infrastructure.

1000 x Taurus cruise missiles = $1.1 Billion usd. Place a multi year order with MBDA in Germany.

1000 x Stormshadow cruise missiles = $2.2 Billion usd. Place a multi year order with MBDA in France and Britain.

1000 x RBS 15 land attack cruise missiles = $1.5 Billion usd. Place a multi year order to Saab Bofors in Sweden and MESKO in Poland, who builds them under license.

500 x AGM-84 land attack missiles = $1.5 Billion usd. Place a multi year order with Boeing in the United States.

10,000 x Brimstone missiles II = $2.0 Billion usd. Place a multi year order with MBDA in Britain.

There you go. 3500 long range cruise and dual-use precision strike missiles and 10,000 highly accuracy, medium range strike anti-armor missiles, without ever $1 dollar from the United States. Just 9 wealthy Allies getting together throwing "chump change" into a fund to fund the multi-year capability for Ukraine to strike Russian targets.

Count me in!

Per the Guardian, a "historic" military aid package for Ukraine is expected to be announced in the coming days by NATO members. The package is likely to be collaborative in nature and will include, among other items, significant additional air defense systems donated to Ukraine.

Before I get excited, I'm going to wait and see what's announced.

It's really sad seeing kids get hurt in a war they know nothing about ☹️

But on the other hand, there is no evidence that Russia targeted the building or even the damage was done by a cruise M.

But on the other hand, there is no evidence that Russia targeted the building or even the damage was done by a cruise M.
An online video obtained by Reuters showed a missile falling towards the children's hospital followed by a large explosion. The location of the video was verified from visible landmarks.

The Security Service of Ukraine identified the missile as an Kh-101 cruise missile.

No evidence? A video of a cruise missile heading for the hospital is not evidence?

PS If it was a KH-101 cruise missile that hit the hospital identifiable parts may be found in the debris. That would provide incontrovertible evidence.

I don't know why Russia bothers to deny the attack when it has launched hundreds/thousands of missiles against targets in Ukraine. I bear in mind that according to Putin there is not a war raging in Ukraine but a special military operation raging in Ukraine. Russia has a simple approach to bad publicity: deny everything.

About the hospital...

Russia denied attacking the hospital, blaming the damage on fragments of a Ukrainian air defence missile. On Tuesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters: “I insist, we do not conduct strikes on civilian targets.”

Ukrainian officials, however, said they found parts of a Russian cruise missile at the scene.

The strike on the children’s hospital was likely caused by a direct hit from a Russian missile, the head of the United Nations human rights monitoring mission said on Tuesday, citing its own analysis.

“Analysis of the video footage and an assessment made at the incident site indicates a high likelihood that the children’s hospital suffered a direct hit rather than receiving damage due to an intercepted weapon system,” said Danielle Bell, head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

Still 0 casualties. You guys do know the difference between the explosive charge of an air to air missile and a cruise missile right? You know support for you is bad if Twitter is being 50/50 if the strike is Ukrainian or Russian

Palestinians have no problems doing photo ops when Israel bombs them. Why hasn't Ukraine done that yet! on the same day of the strike?

Video of the study of Ukrainian Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles in Russia. This is the most detailed video footage of the internals of the Shadow and SCALP missiles to date. The Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles were developed by the French company Matra and the English British Aerospace, and are now produced by the European company MBDA. In the video, Russian specialists show the cumulative part of SCALP missiles, the engine, control equipment, electronics, servos, rudders and various missile design elements.

Where is the video that shows this evidence?

We have seen the pics of the KH-101 which differ from the one that hit the hospital.

This is the KH-101

Now compare it to this

IMG_20240709_214406_429.jpg

Which actually looks more like AIM-120 AD of Ukraine.

If the cruise missile was what actually hit that building the damage will be different. In fact that building won't exit.
