Britain 🇬🇧 announced a new $155 million usd military aid package for Ukraine today. The package consists of sea drones and coastal defense radars. Britain and Norway 🇳🇴 are also partnering to raise an additional $100 million usd to further ramp up this initiative aimed at protecting Ukraine's grain corridor.

The biggest single update of the war since USA 🇺🇸 passed its $61 Billion usd package for Ukraine in the spring of 2024.

The G7 finalized it's plan today to lend Ukraine $50 Billion usd, which will be repaid by interest garnered from frozen Russian assets. The first tranche of the loan will be dispersed prior to the end of 2024. 90% of the funds are earmarked for Ukraine's military and 10% of the funds are earmarked for the support of Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

The breakdown of the loan is as follows:

USA 🇺🇸: $20 Billion usd
EU 🇪🇺: $20 Billion usd
Japan 🇯🇵: $4 Billion usd
Britain 🇬🇧: $3 Billion usd
Canada 🇨🇦: $3 Billion usd

The loan is incredibly well timed. USA's existing PDA is down to approximately $4.5 Billion usd, with an election 2 weeks away. Ukraine's ability to ramp up their own production with these funds, as well as to buy weapons directly from Western manufacturers will go a long way in sustaining their war effort through 2025, as Russia continues to burn through it's armor inventory at a pace that is impossible for them to replace.

Footage of the attack of a Russian Ka-29 helicopter of the Black Sea Fleet on the Ukrainian naval drone MAGURA has been published. The video was filmed near Crimea, as reported, there were only 4 naval drones. The MAGURA drone is modified and armed with an R-73 aircraft missile, technical information about the drone is on the channel. Despite the fact that the drone has an R-73 missile, it cannot use it, since the missile has a dead zone of about 300 meters. If the helicopter moves away at a distance of more than 300 meters, it can be hit by a missile. The helicopter fires from all types of weapons installed on board. A 7.62 machine gun, a GShG-7.62 automatic cannon and a 23-mm GSh-23L aircraft cannon are used. The authors did not show the full video, perhaps the second part will be released later.

News on Ukraine's aviation front.

- Ukraine will receive their first 12 Mirage 2000-5s from France 🇫🇷 in April. The pilots will finish training in France this fall, however, they will stay there for consolidation training until the aircraft are transferred. French missile manufacturer MBDA has been reconditioning expired SCALP-EG cruise missiles and has been stockpiling them for transfer along with the Jets. They've also increased production of AASMs for increased rate of transfer with the Mirage 2000-5s.

- Meanwhile, Ukrainian pilots are training to fly F-16s in USA 🇺🇸, Denmark 🇩🇰, Romania 🇷🇴 and Canada 🇨🇦, with lead in training happening in Poland 🇵🇱 and Britain 🇬🇧. Ukraine's cadre of pilots trained to fly the F-16 should increase to around 50 by spring of 2025. Ukraine's fleet of F-16s will become more expansive, with as many as 85 units ready for transfer from the EU, as soon as Ukraine has enough pilots to fly them.

- interestingly, on the domestic front, Ukraine has been working tirelessly (with foreign contracting help) to refurbish retired SU-24s and MIG-29s that had been taken out of service. They also (with help from allies) have quietly purchased spare parts from around the world, to bring their old aircraft back to life. Ukraine started the war with 32 SU-24s and has lost 18 in combat. However, through extensive efforts at refurbishment, they now have "far more" units than they did pre war. Of the 150+ units that Ukraine had in storage after retiring them, some 60'ish units have been brought back to life and have become available to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Footage of real combat work of Russian interceptor drones armed with the Taiga net launcher. The military chronicle was filmed near the village of Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk region, now this is the largest archive of interceptor drones that has been published online. The interceptor drones are used by the anti-aircraft missile battery, the 1442nd motorized rifle regiment, the 6th motorized rifle division, and the 3rd army corps. It is reported that thanks to the use of drones with the Taiga device, it was possible to gain a tactical advantage in this area and the activity of Ukrainian drones decreased to almost zero.

It is worth noting that the Taiga device was already copied in September and is also being produced in Ukraine, it intercepted 5 drones of the Russian army. There are also American analogues, they were shown earlier. In the drone war, and this can already be called that, with the help of the Taiga net thrower, 470 Ukrainian drones worth 130 million rubles were intercepted, mainly drones manufactured by DJI, and 9 agrodrones of the Baba Yaga type were also intercepted. Currently, drones armed with nets are the most effective means of combating drones, since effective electronic warfare systems that cover all frequencies have not yet been created. Judging by the information from the network, the Taiga net thrower is manufactured by the Russian company INMATTEN, surprisingly, against the background of current prices for military products, it is quite cheap, its price is 25,000 rubles or $ 258. The weight of the Taiga device is 270/350 g, depending on the type of net.

The drone with the Taiga net turned out to be successful, thanks to the interaction of Russian developers with military personnel. Which does not happen often. The Taiga net launcher is simple, essentially it is a pyrotechnic cartridge and a net that is attached to a drone, so far only to DJI drones. The drone hovers over another drone and the pyrotechnic cartridge shoots a net with weights, the net has a diameter of 3.6 meters, thus intercepting the drone. Intercepted drones are then picked up and repaired, it is worth noting that DJI drones are quite expensive. In the video, an overview of the Taiga device and its combat use in Ukraine.

Finally found this video by kennedy junior summarising who started the war

I saw no evidence to support what he says. Never mind - evidence ceased being used to support arguments years ago. I should just believe what any speakers say, shouldn't I?

I'm not saying Kennedy is talking rubbish or he is talking sense. I would not know - without doing a great deal of research to find evidence either way because Kennedy did not do the job of presenting evidence to support his claim.

I have heard him speak once. I was quite impressed. Not this time.

I don't believe that

Yet Kennedy is building a campaign for the highest office around these conspiracy theories and the idea that fact-checking or criticizing them amounts to censorship.

etc etc

Kennedy can say this and that is true. You can say this and that is true. Neither of you give any evidence to back the assertion.

Sorry but I find Kennedy's claims infantile.

Regardless of whether he is a conspiracy theorist or not
The info he said about ukraine was spot on

1-American senators themselves, as proven in the post regarding Mitch Mcconnel, stated that all aid for Ukraine stays in the US to stimulate its defense industries. A decent chunk of such industries are owned by Blackrock

2-Ukraine did rule in privatising all state banks

3-Ukraine did sign a deal with Blackrock to rebuild Ukraine post war for 15 billion dollars

4- Ukraine is selling all of its state-owned mining companies and lands that are worth possibly trillions

5- Ukraine already has so-called "loans" worth billions of dollars that god knows how will they repay it. US senator Lendsay Graham clearly stated that US wants Ukraine's mineral reserves which co-incides with the ukrainian govt selling spree

Soon, Ukrainians will have no national soirce of income and will become sooo deep in debt and the greatest benefitor from all of this are US companies alone. If this isnt money laundering and theft at the expense of the Ukrainian people, then I dont know what it can be labelled as

I also think that the US has little or no interest in the welfare of Ukraine or its people.

If state-owned institutions in Ukraine or state assets are sold at market value, that is acceptable to me. Unreasonable sales commissions, no.

If BlackRock owns a large number of American defence companies it does not surprise me if BlackRock benefits from sales of arms for use in Ukraine.

Extremely bad news if BlackRock have got some kind of monopoly over rebuilding Ukraine.

UK borrowed vast amounts from US in WWII. The debt was finally repaid in the 21st century, so it is possible for a country to repay immense debts.

Yes, I imagine that Ukraine will be severely exploited by US companies in the aftermath of this war or indirectly the US government will be severely exploited by US companies if the US finances reconstruction in Ukraine using US companies.

Zelensky (a Israeli Ukrainian) is very succesfull in emptying Western taxpayers pockets.

I admire him.

But the Ukrainian people (not Zelenskys people) will curse him every day for exterminating millions of Ukrainians, especially the male population.
Western taxpayers pay nothing. Entire aid packages are financed by accumulated interest from blocked Russian funds.

After the start of the Ukraine war, Russian assets worth around 322 billion dollars (298 billion euros) were frozen abroad.
Now the EU and G7 countries are releasing interest income from these state assets for Ukraine.

This statement alone shows that you are just a fringe conspiracy theorist who doesn’t have a clue about the real world.

Whenever I see someone mentioning Blackrock and their evil scheming, I know that is a person with kindergarten level of understanding and knowledge of modern capitalist societies.

Just so you know, Blackrock is an asset management company (the biggest in the world closely followed by Vanguard), and it has achieved its success partially thanks to its cheap index-replicating ETFs (the famous iShares ETFs).

Both Blackrock and Vanguard are the largest and most successful ETF issuers, and because of that, they are listed as big shareholders in all major companies in the world, as they accumulate shares in all companies present in major indexes such as S&P500, NASDAQ, FTSE100, etc. Those shares do not actually belong to Blackrock and Vanguard. They belong to the index funds, which belong to millions of investors worldwide.

Blackrock simply acts as a fund manager, earning a small fee for managing the fund (fees for large ETFs can be as low as 0.07% per year of AUM). So when you see those trillions of dollars worth of assets under Blackrock and Vanguard’s balance sheet, they are not their direct ownership, as they are matched with equal liabilities towards the investors who are the ultimate beneficial owners of those assets.

To see the scale of the asset management industry and the dominance of Blackrock and Vanguard, you can check this link:

So, when someone says Blackrock “owns” a “decent chunk of the defence industry”, it tells a lie. Blackrock does not own those shares in the companies. Those shares are owned by the Blackrock funds, which are owned by regular investors, in many cases just regular Joes from the US investing in ETFs.

Blackrock will just earn its small fees (like 0.10% of AUM on an ETF fund) regardless of how profitable those companies are. Blackrock earns more money if the index companies are more valuable so the largest chunk of Blackrock profits from its equity funds comes from the big companies that have a bigger weight in the index. If the MAG7 stocks perform well, Blackrock earns more money than if Lockheed Martin, Raytheon or Northrop Grumman perform well.

Associating Blackrock and Vanguard with the defence industry is just extreme mental gymnastics made by conspiracy theorists who address their message to low IQ people.

What's the annual interest on $300 billion? Not enough to pay for the aid being sent to Ukraine unless most of the arms sent are on the books as having zero value (retired tanks, fighters, artillery, cluster munitions etc)

Russian kamikaze drones "Geran-2" began to be used in Ukraine with direct control of operators. To communicate with the operator, a built-in 4G modem and a Ukrainian SIM card are used, and SIM cards from other countries can also be used. A drone in such equipment is capable of operating over the entire territory of Ukraine and any neighboring country where mobile communications work. The video shows the first footage of the attack of the Russian drone "Geran-2" on an electrical substation with transformers in the area of the city of Belopolye in the Sumy region of Ukraine.

Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann (FDP Party) wants to send NATO troops against Russia.

They call them (Russia and N. Korea), Axis of Evils. Maybe you heard them before.
The same person wants to support a genocide against Palestines.

Axis of evils because they challenge Western hegemony.

Im not gonna defend Russia or NK. But everybody has interests. Only becomes a problem when the West feels challenged as they dont want competition.

Deep down nobody wants competition if they want the world to be their own oyster.
