Becoming more and more evident with each month unfortunately, Fire, yup.

The fact he thinks this is ending without Ukraine ceding any territory to Russia at all, at this point is just...yeah, he's not a serious person. And unless he wants to elaborate on whatever this "non-nuclear deterrence" concept is, it's daydreaming - can't even fathom what that would be short of stationing a shitload of troops inside Ukraine from the NATO that Ukraine's never going to be allowed to join in the first place.

Relic, the most newsworthy part of this new-aid-for-Ukraine thing that happens literally every month is that Biden still won't cave to Zelensky's "let us fire high-end U.S. weapons into Russia for offensive purposes" bullshit. Way more telling than the missiles & rifles and 30 year old Australian (not-even-upgraded/modernized, to my knowledge) Abrams which'll probably be easy fodder. Biden's senile, but he hasn't lost it entirely. Let's see what Kamala does, she'll probably approve something like that just for the photo-op and the social media likes, without even grasping the second-and-third-step repercussions.

Continuation of the battle with an unknown APC and two tanks in the Kursk region of Russia. The situation has become clearer, in short, the APC was indeed Russian, and the tanks were Ukrainian. A shot from the second Ukrainian tank finally destroyed the APC. The APC crew left the combat vehicle, as was shown earlier. The Ukrainian tank was subsequently destroyed, how is not reported, most likely by drones, the fate of the tank crew is also unknown. The second tank left the scene of the battle, there is no further information about it.

Yup, I was right after all
Ukraine is on the brink of losing the war and the West is gonna suck up what can be siphoned from Ukraine before it falls into Russia's hands

Kursk frontline have collapsed and Russia regained 50% of what it lost to Ukraine. Russia is also on the verge of taking both Selidove and Toretsk with Pokrovsk being a lost cause as well

Rumors of a new Kherson-Zaporizhya-Kharkiv offensive by Russia post-Pokrovsk

And videos are emerging regarding Ukrainian recruitment officers barging into high class night parties amd weddings to conscript whom they can; i-e, they are now trying to mobilise the high class of Ukraine

Then this pops up...... Ukraine is getting destroyed thx to a fqing jewish clown..... because of only 1 man, a whole nation got destroyed

Yeah. Been thinking this has been done for a while now, but the longer it goes on the more accurate that seems to be.

It sort of feels like things might transition from the "surround myself with Yes Men and only take on board the good news" to something a little more pragmatic in the near future. I don't think the Ukrainians will turn against Zelensky and oust him or anything, but he's going to start feeling the pressure to come back down out of the clouds and put his feet on the ground, face facts.

Zelensky to Trump: Ukraine will either join NATO or have nuclear weapons

17.10.24

In September, Zelensky met with Trump

In particular, Trump agreed with Zelensky's arguments regarding why Ukraine chooses the Alliance over nuclear weapons.

"For its own security, Ukraine must either become a member of NATO or must have nuclear weapons. "President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this with US presidential candidate Donald Trump during their meeting in September.

Thus, speaking today at a press conference in Brussels, Zelensky told how he spoke with Donald Trump about NATO using the example of the Budapest Memorandum, when Ukraine renounced nuclear weapons.

"It seems to me that this is a clear example. Ukraine had the Budapest Memorandum. There were nuclear states there. The largest states in the world that have influence, have nuclear weapons. Among these, of course, were the United States of America, China, Russia, France. Undoubtedly major players that have nuclear potential," Zelensky said.

We never said that we wanted to create nuclear weapons, - Zelensky

20:10, 17.10.24

The President explained what he meant by the Budapest Memorandum

Zelensky also said that an invitation to NATO would strengthen Ukraine diplomatically and bring a just peace closer.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that Ukraine never said that it wanted to create nuclear weapons. He made this statement during a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The President explained that he was talking about the Budapest Memorandum, when Ukraine renounced nuclear weapons, but did not receive the promised security guarantees in return.

"I spoke about the Budapest Memorandum, which states that Ukraine receives security guarantees. But this is not an umbrella and we have no options other than NATO. We do not build nuclear weapons," he added.

I think Zelensky speaking about nuclear weapons is a warning to the West. He is basically saying: “If you don’t accept Ukraine in NATO, we have no other option but to pursue nuclear weapons.”

His mention of nuclear weapons is also a warning to those who think that Ukraine will simply accept a Russian victory and give up. They won’t.

The war continues to cause significant attrition for both sides. With that in mind, the West still has plenty it can give and plenty more that can be ordered for delivery throughout 2025 and 2026. At the same time, increasing the funds dedicated towards funding for Ukraine's domestic production is also an essential component given that those weapons have much lesser lead times and are generally much more cost effective as well.

With that in mind, below is a list (not fully comprehensive) of what Ukraine needs delivered between now and the end of 2025, to keep its brigades fully equipped and create newly equipped brigades through mobilization.

The nuclear weapons thread from the Z-dawg, while not completely unexpected (I always thought he had some closeted dictatorial/messianic tendencies and could potentially become a problem down the line), is a nothing-burger. They're not going to have the means to do that after losing the war, and more the point there's not way in fuckity-hell NATO's going to stand for it.

His whole "victory plan" feels like an admission to me, too. Like, it's basically a non-starter with his first point regarding the NATO invitation, it ain't happening under any circumstances, but even if you give him the benefit of the doubt and proceed from there the rest of it's virtually asking to be saved by outside forces, when you boil it right down. I think it's gradually (gradually gradually) sinking in for the guy that the General he fired a while back was right, their best-and-last chance has passed with the major pre-Kursk offensive that Russia blunted. Their energy's all spent and there's nothing left in the tank, and it's almost (I hate using this comparison, but feel it's warranted here strategically not morally/ideologically) at that Hitler-at-the-end level where everyone but the big guy knows they're fucked, and the last chance is some hypothetical Wunderwaffe superweapon intervention. In this case NATO directly saving their asses with European troops, rather than the V2s & prototype jetfighters.

Zelensky (a Israeli Ukrainian) is very succesfull in emptying Western taxpayers pockets.

I admire him.

But the Ukrainian people (not Zelenskys people) will curse him every day for exterminating millions of Ukrainians, especially the male population.

Lol the war has cost the West virtually NOTHING. NATO alone spends 1.4 Trillion usd annually on its combined defense. Add in the other countries supporting Ukraine outside of NATO and that number rises to 1.6 Trillion usd.

We're approaching the 3 year mark of the war, which means those countries will have spent $4.8 Trillion usd over that period of time, with a total of about $300 Billion usd spent on Ukraine. That means the collective countries helping Ukraine have spent a total of 6.25% of their three year defense budget supporting Ukraine, while the remaining 93.75% has been spent strengthening their own militaries, at a time in which the Russian military (Europe's biggest adversary) gets unequivocally weaker every month, exhausting a Soviet stockpile they will never be able to replace.

Make no mistake about it. Neither Russia nor Ukraine is is going to achieve the outright victory that they're looking for any time soon... But there is an obvious winner in this conflict and it's without question. This has been an overwhelming success for the West. They've been able to send large quantities of their old equipment to Ukraine, start the process of fully revamping their own respective military capabilities in the process and they've decimated the Russian Army at the same time... For less than 10% of their combined defense spending.

If you can't see how much of an outright success this has been for NATO and their partners, I don't think you can be convinced of anything.

I don't know about "curse" him, but he'll wear thin with the public at a certain point for sure. Reality's going to come home to roost at a point, and if he's still thrusting a fist in the air declaring "we WILL take back the Donbass!" a year or whatever from now, and outright refusing to dignify Putin's terms by even hearing them, the guy's not going to be able to be taken seriously.

Watch that general he fired though, name escapes me at the moment. That guy was supposedly super popular with the Ukrainian public, wouldn't put it past me at all for that guy to make a run for office in hopes of bringing it all to an end at some point. Zelensky's "no elections" thing is fine for a while, pretty normal in war, but he won't be able to keep that up forever.

The West can do anything, everyone knows that. It can even bomb the Houthis. Because it is confident in impunity. The West can even shoot down Iranian missiles. Yemen and Afghanistan do not have a nuclear bomb, so they can be returned to the Stone Age by air strikes (as Bush Jr. said).
But when it comes to Russia, the West becomes surprisingly "wise", "responsible" and "prudent" ;) Simply put - a coward
Because the West is afraid of getting a blow to the head.
Putin blackmails, and the West is afraid. Isn't it clear?

Let's see who the Americans choose. If Trump, then it is very likely that they will vote for isolationism (like 100 years ago).
Without America, Europe will not be able to defend Ukraine. In general, Europe is not capable of defending itself.
In this case, the Russians will quickly turn half the world into a madhouse.
I wonder what is the reason why Germany has become so kind and agreed to export German weapons to Turkey?:)

Another proof that Ukraine has been hiding its true death toll values from the public a long time ago; this has been reportedly exacerbated ever since the Kursk offensive

It seems that a recent dead bodies exchange involved Russia giving 500+ dead Ukrainian soldiers for only 80+ dead Russian soldoers from Ukraine. Hell, that means for every Russian soldier that dies, 5+ Ukrainians hit the sack...... and somehow Zelensky comes up with his might victory plan, looooool

It is normal for Russia to have more Ukrainian bodies than Ukraine has Russian bodies, because the areas where the latest battles have been fought have come under Russia control. Even if there were 10 Russian dead for one Ukrainian, Russia would still be able to “collect” more Ukrainian bodies sinply because they are in control of the land where those people died.

So this exchange tells us nothing about the real rate of death on the frontlines.

Also, you are citing a Twitter account that calls Ukrainians the “Kiev Junta”, so the credibility of that information is zero.

A video has started to spread online in Ukrainian media, allegedly showing the first North Korean soldiers appearing in Russia at one of the bases. Earlier, the Head of the Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, reported that North Korean soldiers are being trained in the Saratov region of Russia, who will then provide support to Russian units. According to the statement of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, the first 11 thousand DPRK soldiers will be ready to enter the battle on November 1. It is impossible to understand from the video where it was filmed and who is depicted there, perhaps the video even uses superimposed sound. At the end of the video, several phrases are recorded with increased sound, but it is not yet known what language is being spoken there.

Footage of the Russian FPV drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" in use in the Kursk region of Russia. Despite the fact that the Vandal drone is controlled via fiber optic cable, judging by the video, it is also used carefully in the forest. The video shows the drone attacking a Ukrainian armored vehicle "Kozak-7" and an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier, possibly an FV432. The moment of the drone's defeat is not shown, since the surveillance drone was not used in the forest.
