If Russian citizens were actually outraged in any significant way they'd be doing everything in their power to overthrow the dictator in Russia, and rebuild the country in the image of a country they aspire to be... Instead, they're fleeing to become a burden on other nation's.

Russia is a trash country, that is deeply lucky to have nuclear weapons at its disposal, for the sake of deterence. Otherwise, NATO + Finland + Sweden + Ukraine would make a mockery of their military in short order, establish air superiority, and turn Moscow to glass and rubble, with a stopover in Belarus, to level Minsk along the way.

Putin is very lucky to command a country with a nuclear arsenal. Otherwise, they'd have hell rain down on them from the skies.

If we are looking at @Oryx data for Russian armed Forces material losses so far, their losses is already worth around two full sized infantry division. And in money worth around four Billion US Dollar to build the equipment and equipped the units with necessary logistic including ammunition, fuels and training.

And they already losses more MBT in three weeks campaign in Ukraine compared to nine years campaign in Afghanistan. And speaking their economy losses impact compared to strength of economy of Russian federation compared to Soviet Union back then, Russia should be more vulnerable and felt the impact much more worse.

I ask myself how much billions of dollar amount vehicles are lost, how much fuel how much food and money is put into this without the sanctions just material and payments..

It would be nice to see some calculations on that.. What's a su 25 is worth or a su 34 or a t72 tank?


Also we should remind ourselves if Russia plundering etc is doing this to Ukraine the crimes committed in Syria are not imaginable.. Shure they have no mercy there

Is it just me or does that seems like way too much?

I guess one way of ascertaining whether the plane numbers are inflated is to assess whether the other figures make sense or not. Do those vehicle losses for example sound inflated? Not to me they don't.

In addition, some of those figures haven't changed at all recently - those UAV/fuel tanks/boat losses are roughly the same as several days ago. So not something you would expect if someone is randomly throwing numbers around.
