Result of HIMLRS -> russian depots -> command centers
Baykar's CEO, Mr Haluk Bayraktar in an interview on CNN, said that his company won't be selling any TB-2s to Russia.
They support Ukraine's struggle for their independence and sovereignty.
You see it this way, others see it as a good PR for Baykar and Türkiye.Complete lack of geopolitical nuance or diplomacy. She's cornering him to say we won't sell weapons to Russia, which indirectly harms the Turkish Russian relationship, which benefits America and the EU. Turkey doesnt exist to benefit America or Russia, she exists to benefit her own people and then her friends.
These people shouldn't do these sorts of interviews. I get you make some nice drones, but please we need people who understand state diplomacy.
This is coming from someone who has no love for Russia, who doesn't support 1% of what they are doing and someone who wishes we arm Ukraine more.
What he should have said was something along the lines of we have a great relationship with Ukraine and we also have a great relationship with Russia. In this specific circumstance and he should highlight this is his personal opinion not state opinion, since he does not speak for the state, that it would be wrong to support Russia here. Like wise if Russia was ever attacked or invaded unjustly that Turkey would look to support Russia, that would couldnt look away when our friends are in trouble. But he would like to see peace come soon between these two nations that Turkey is both friends with.

No offence by any means… This is a first that I have seen the words Abdullah Gul and “diplomat” in the same phrase! The only diplomat who knew how to talk to the west I've seen under the AK party years was Abdullah Gul. The rest have been shockingly naïve and incompetent. They go in blind and end up getting their pants pulled down by the same international media that ran stories that Turkey supports isis or is committing genocide on the kurds.
If the guy had his wits about him, he could have used that question about selling drones to Russia and turned it on her. Listing all the places Turkey has combated Russia while all the allied NATO nations placing sanctions on Turkey from the F35 to the german tank engine and despite all the places we fight with Russia the Russians are still willing to sell us weapons. And then laughed at her and made a joke that maybe Turkey would have a better relationship with her allies if they fought with each other more.
Also worth keeping in mind that when Turkey was selling Ukraine drones back in 2019 the west was warning Turkey not to sell them drones. That would have been a great point to bring up. That when her government threatened Turkey not to sell Ukraine, we still did and who knows had we not sold Ukraine drones maybe kiev would have fallen.
