Russian sappers conducting demining in Ukraine collected a large number of mines and grenades. All this was destroyed in one explosion. The explosion in power is equal to the explosion of 3 tons of explosives in TNT equivalent.

Donetsk militia spoke about the difficult assault on the village of Peski. The Ukrainian army created three lines of powerful defense and even dug underground passages between the basements of houses, this is a small part of what they had to face during the battles in the village. Details of the assault in the video. (Subtitles)

The United States sent Mi-24 and Mi-17 helicopters to Ukraine. The helicopters were previously purchased from Russia for the Afghan army, but were eventually transferred to the Ukrainian army. Video with helicopters has already been published by the Ukrainian army.

One pretty interesting and open-minded interview with U. general Serhii Krivonos about U.-R. war, the reasons behind it, Kyiv defense, and so forth. Piece of it:

"We know very well and have heard Putin say more than once that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a big mistake. And Putin sees NATO as enemy number one and cannot have it any other way. If he says that NATO is our friend and we are doing well, some Russians will start asking questions. We remember the unrest in the Russian Federation, and it was frequent. So why do we live worse? While the potential of the raw materials that we sell abroad, we have much more. Therefore, so these questions do not arise, creating an image of the enemy is necessary. And when you are at war, all your misfortunes are the enemy’s fault, and you have no right to your own opinion because there is a war, and you must endure it.

You may well remember Medvedev’s phrase: “There’s no money, but you take care,” which is just one example of this approach. They consider their people cattle, but they realize that cattle can get smarter. That’s why they need to make them go to war. And the war is usually fought by some of the most active segments of the population. So it’s better to let them die in the war, and there will be less. Then there will be more inside Russia. And all the rest will keep quiet, like, excuse me, enslaved people."

Another good interview with a Russian military analyst about the situation in U.-R.war, opposing this "slow locomotive approach", as it was advertised by some of fellow forum members.

Good news is these slavs are killing each other.

Hopefully the war continues until they both obliterate each other.

Question @Nilgiri ................I wonder how the Indian government feels about all the money they've wasted on useless russian arms?

It is completely different context.

Money is not wasted per se in the way you might think, since we are talking about in the end:

A) Realised force concentration
B) Logistics and competency backing it
C) What the immediate likeliest adversaries/threats can bring to bear upon you regarding these

For (A), we continually test with various allies (with different sourced technology) what this actually is ....so we have the proper analysis. This also is what drives incorporation (and shift towards) the other tech and our own sourced capability over time.

For B) India simply would not do something (monstrously stupid and incompetently) Russia did in this war...both in taking on large NATO apparatus head on and simply not having the substantive clarity and execution needed for the objectives. The objectives are also highly immoral which counts for a lot in this psychologically too.

For (C), it ties in A and B together along with more detailed analysis of the different context in our theatre.

It was mostly Russian weaponry (employed by India and Bangladesh) that achieved the final liberation of Bangladesh for example. Small arms, mortars right up to tanks, aircraft, ships and artillery.

The training and planning was also all mostly local (important) and needed a deep understanding of the context peculiar to the area.

This is something Russia has grossly misread yet again w.r.t Ukraine, Europe, NATO and the West etc.

So its not open shut case of waste of money simply by correlating what Russia is doing in Ukraine and coming off the worse for it....

....the other different factors (in the other contexts) have to be taken into account.

Edit:

Breaking News!!!

The Telegram channel “Military Informant” posted a video, the footage of which shows how the Ukrainian military inspects Turkish BMC Kirpi armored vehicles.

Ukrainian sources claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received 50 such Turkish vehicles, Ankara will send another 150 armored vehicles in the near future

Im alwaya against Russia. But the Turks talking with putin even trying manuevr in every way possible to take them out. Does not mean we are allies or even cooperating. We havent abandoned Ukraine despite some sabotages from pro russian crowd in the Turkish government.

The Ukrainian army began to use US AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles. The remains of one of the missiles were found at the positions of Russian troops in the Donbass. The missile entered service in 1983 and is capable of targeting high-frequency radars even if they turn off or change frequencies. The length of the rocket is about 4 meters, the diameter is 250 millimeters. With such dimensions, the EPR of the rocket is not small, therefore, they should be easily detected by air defense systems. The missile is designed to be launched only from aircraft, perhaps in Ukraine, handicraft ground installations were created for launching.

The calculation of the Osa-AKM air defense system, the Russian marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet, showed its combat work at night in Ukraine. Several launches of 9M33M3 missiles were carried out against the detected targets. On the combat account of the calculation of the air defense system, there are already 115 destroyed air targets.
