His daughter was killed.

The interview isnt about his daughter, its about him promoting his "greater russia" "euroasian" nonsense.

As a result of his ideology today lots of Ukrainain daughters have been been brutally raped and then murdered. Dugins daughter btw supported her fathers ideology.

For those interested, watching this video in this thread will clearly illustrate exactly what Russia has plainly lacked in logistics and support (using the US as reference point to compare) ...... things that need heavy investment and solid accounting + feedback process from the inside out.

I've been doing some research on internet about A-10 topic and appears that a Ukranian businessman financed the "gaming" center specialized on A-10 to train the people that Ukranian Air Force considered.
This facility has been operating since early May with help also from youtube videos of U.S. military trainers and retired US military officials.

The full article and the source of the video is here and it is very interesting:

https://time.com/6207115/ukraine-train-fighter-pilots-russia/

Also in early May U.S. moved 10 A-10C to Europe, 4 to Norway and 6 to North Macedonia under the argument of "to support exercise operations."
So we can assume after almost 4 months of full time training, we have some virtual pilots waiting for some good news.

Would they need some "shaking" here before? :)

Yep that's a pretty good summary. Also Russia focused so much on superweapons that they really fell behind in every other area. When you look at what type force they've been trying to create, you can see that everything is geared towards a war against the USA. Hypersonic this, hypersonic that. On the other hand, they thought their rudimentary targeting systems that were used extensively to flatten Syria would suffice in a war against Ukraine. Boy were they wrong. It's as if they were prepared for a fight against both a superpower and ragtag militias... But not a middle power. Of course, now we know that they would get slapped by any competent military.

Russia even wasted their time in developing doomsday weapons. I kid you now they were developing nuclear powered cruise missiles.

As if Russia will use weapons that will create the place a radioactive waste land.

Russians wasted their time with stupid vanity projects while thinking their huge military they got the from the Soviets was on par with Nato. They were dead wrong. Scenario of Total war is long gone.

Usa proved to us especially with desert storm that wars can be ended quickly in a matter of weeks if not months rather than dragging on for years.

I know the usa was bogged down in iraq and afghanistan. What this also proves how a military victory wont mean anything if you cant win it politically while wasting resources away in occupying a hostile land.

Half year of war. Short sum up:

1) Prior the 2022 war Russia controlled 7.4% of Ukraine territory (red color).
2) By mid of March Russia captured another 17% of Ukraine territory (orange and dark blue). So they controlled 24.4%.
3) In the end of March Russia retreated from dark blue areas so now they controlled 20.4% of territory.
4) From the beginning of April to the beginning of July (3 months) Russia led offensive in Donbass, capturing green area (0.6% of Ukraine territory).
5) Since the beginning of July front stalled.

Currently Russia controls about 21% of Ukraine territory. 7.4% were captured in 2014 and 13.6% in 2022 war.

Areas captured by Russia in 2014 were much more dense populated than now. Pre war population of red areas was 6.2 mln, while pre war population of orange and green areas captured in 2022 - 2.2 mln.

Pre war population of rest Ukraine about 35 mln. That means in 2014 Russians captured 14% of Ukraine population and in 2022 - 5% (actually much less because most fled).

Russian General Staff insist on general mobilization due to number of casualties - StratCom APU
1661343967530.png

According to the Ukrainian command, the Russian Federation no longer hides the "catastrophic" shortage of soldiers and officers.

The shortage of personnel and losses led to the fact that the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces began to insist on general mobilization. Whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will agree to hold it is still unknown.

Sad thing is most of war is being forgotten even in the mainstream media and people who follow trends.

Good thing we have this forum and people who love military and geopolitics. So the war in Ukraine wont be forgotten and a reminder its still continuing.

FORBES: In half a year, Ukraine destroyed $16.6 billion worth of Russian military equipment.

https://forbes.ua/inside/skilki-kos...za-pivroku-viyni-otsinka-forbes-24082022-7884

During the war, the enemy lost almost 2,000 tanks, 234 aircraft and 15 ships. Forbes calculated how much the equipment destroyed by Ukraine cost and which losses were the most painful.

In six months in Ukraine, the Russians lost 12,142 pieces of equipment worth $16.56 billion, excluding missiles.

IMG_20220824_185831.jpg

The largest loss of the Russian army was the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet with powerful weapons - the missile cruiser "Moskva" worth $750 million. On April 13, Ukrainian "Neptun" missiles struck the "Moscow" - the next day the flagship went to the bottom.

In addition to the "Moscow" on the island of Zmeiny and in the surrounding waters, Ukraine destroyed $165 million worth of Russian equipment and ships. Among them are eight anti-aircraft complexes of the "Tor", "Armor" and "Strela" types with a total cost of more than $100 million.

Before the sinking of the "Moscow", the most expensive loss of the Russians was a large Il-76 amphibious aircraft for $86 million, which was shot down by air defense forces in late February in the sky over Vasylkov, Kyiv region.

The third most expensive was the large amphibious assault ship "Saratov" for $75 million. The Ukrainian army attacked the ship when it was in the port of occupied Berdyansk - delivering military equipment there.

Top 10 biggest losses of Russians per unit:

missile cruiser "Moscow" - $750 million;

Il-76 aircraft – $86 million;

amphibious assault ship "Saratov" - $75 million;

Su-30SM aircraft – $50 million;

Su-34 aircraft – $40 million;

Su-35 aircraft – $32 million;

Il-22PP aircraft – $30 million;

Tor-M2 air defense system - $25 million;

vessel "Vasyl Beh" - $21 million;

OTRK "Iskander" - $21 million.

Forbes did not include in the estimate of losses the value of the missiles that were fired by Russia at Ukraine or that were shot down. It is difficult to calculate their exact number. Only in the first two months of the war, the Russian Federation used approximately 1,300 missiles, the General Staff reported. estimated their value at $7.5 billion
