Russians taking a page out of the Chechen TikTok PR book of firing randomly into trees
Hahahaha, but we got to admit the massive firepower of this babyRussians taking a page out of the Chechen TikTok PR book of firing randomly into trees
You forgot to tell us that russians have no optics for "new" tanksWell there are over 1000 T-90s that are still getting produced (there are also T-72B3s) and most are getting upgraded to the breakthrough standard using armata cannons with Vacuum-1 rounds. But why should that matter if there are helicopters that can identify and outrange them with ATGMs, use other armored vehicles or call artillery strikes.
I already did, its not my fault english is not your 1st language from the sources i provided earlier. You forgot to tell us that russians have no optics for "new" tanks
what are you talking about? the T-72B3 uses kontact-5 http://www.military-today.com/tanks/t72b3.htm the T-72B4 uses relikt. As a result, the latest version of the T-72B3M model of 2022 was developed. The new iteration of the tank received additional dynamic protection "Contact-1", which covered a number of vulnerabilities (fenders, gun mantlet, hull along the side, lower frontal part), anti-cumulative mesh at the turret ring and brackets on the turret, apparently intended for installation of a lattice screen against the UAV over the car.
you went from no optics on the 1st sentence, but you change your mind on the 3rd paragraph by talking about russian optics, so which is it? This is why we have stereotypes of insulting poles in english countries, and your case doesn't make it any better. You can even see the guy in the end of the video crack a smile saying polish engineering.Judging from reportage "Izvestia", while instead of the "Sosna-U" sight, which is highly effective, the tanks began to be equipped with a simpler analogue 1PN96MT-02 (its monitor is shown on the video in the MBT cockpit), which has a shorter enemy detection range (3 km instead of 5) and Lower resolution IR camera. A similar sight is received by the T-80BVM tanks of the 2022 model instead of the previously installed Sosny-U."

The sights really dont matter when tanks can get tracked on helicopter radars which provide target radar information to ground units which offer the options of krasnopol shells, vikhr, hermes, LMUR, refleks, Sprinter, ataka, kornets, maybe konkurs based on what they did to Turkish Leopard 2A4s in the syrian war, 300mm artillery strikes, etc the options are limitless even more options than what the Syrians had in dealing with armored units. Based on helicopter radar information not even a 3rd gen FLIR on a m1a2SEPv4 would give it the advantage of identifying targets 1st. Just a friendly reminder these helicopters are not like apaches which use millimeter radars that limit them to an 8km range. I will probably repeat myself again but the T-90s are getting modified T-14 cannons which can use Vacuum-1 rounds which based on penetration claims will destroy all western MBTs with one shot but maybe there would be some rare instances the challenger 2 would survive depending on where it gets hit in the front. And if they do go on a major offensive Russians have some mine laying vehicles which will slow the progress of western MBTs and start eating ATGMs and artillery strikes.Ohh, and just read your own people commentaries
"The problem is not in the sights, the T-72 does not have armor-piercing shells in its ammunition load to effectively deal with the "leopards", and the "abrams" is not tough for him at all, if only to hit the sides. It's like a T-34 against a "tiger" from a distance of 400 meters punched, but it still needs to be approached. I hope the Russian military-industrial complex has already come up with something."
