The best part about the Afghans was that you didn't even need to waste expensive .50 caliber bullets. If you just waited long enough, eventually they'd blow themselves up.
The Russians are a couple steps above that in terms of competency. Their logistics might be lacking, but they are fully capable of warfare and a dangerous adversary for any nation not named the USA, who simply has too much of a technological, economic and war fighting edge for the Russians to compete with.

Only a few months ago they were beating and kicking a few thousand Kurdish refugees at a polish border. Meanwhile Ukraine happens and they took 2 million people like it was nothing.

That's insane you can see them trying to get out of the tank and the one in front gets launched into the air on fire and falls back to the ground next to the tank torn in half.
