UK supplying weapons to Ukraine is one of the few times I'm happy with how the government is using my taxes.

Russians making countermeasures have either failed or fell on deaf ears.

Russians were laughing at Turkish defence industry now I dont see them laughing.

Sweden, Germany and the UK stepping up today, joining the USA in announcing additional weapons shipments to fund the Ukrainian war effort. Now it's time for wealthy countries such as Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Switzerland and Norway, who might not have enormous supplies of these types of weapons of their own, to pool some money together and buy them out of someone else's stockpiles. I'd like to see a fresh $50-$100 million announced from each of the countries I listed above, to purchase whatever it is that Ukrainian ground forces need.

Land based, anti-ship weapons would be fantastic as well.

Above all else, skilled manpower would be great. I'd like to see the foreign fighters battalion grow to 25,000-30,000 strong, fully equipped, operating in 5000 strong units, on multiple fronts, bolstering the Ukranian effort.

Turkish folks, would you be in favour of seeing your government announce a meaningful contribution to the Ukrainian war effort, outside of the obvious Bayraktar drones and ammunition you've already been providing? You, obviously, have a formidable military, would you like to see similar shipments of weapons (through Romanian and Polish borders ) that the NATO and allied countries have been sending?

Curious about your thoughts?

I understand that, I guess my question is whether or not you'd rather it continue in silent, or whether you'd rather your government come out publically?

I am sure they are shipping weapons undercover, they are just not making a show out of it and i am glad for that. Russia knows about it but it is not official thus they are ignoring.

TR was sending / selling / donating valuable and meaninful military equipment while the western countries were objecting delivery of those weapons just a year ago.

TR again was providing 'advanced' drone training while Germany made a decision to send helmets, in those times TR has shipped unbelievable amount of ammo / spares for those drones.

TR has been actively supporting Ukraine since the Crimea event by all means in terms od weapons, upgrade of military, modernization, tactics. Some of them were done at no cost.

I'm one of those drone skeptic once, but since watching the TB-2 first came into combat action in Tripoli a few years ago I have deeply question if Russian weapons are really ineffective or it is just pure user ineptness that makes Russian weapons systems ineffective.

Now after multiple Israeli and Turkish air strikes against S-400 and Pantsir defended airspace in Syria, Karabakh and Ukraine I know the answer.

Russian weapons are not as formidable as its brochure would want you to believe.

Russian arms industry will struggle securing exports after this. If it's not dead already after CAATSA.

My guess, Iran or Myanmar will be the only potential buyer of Russian weapons (especially fighters) and it will be after lavish discounts from the Russians.

China will likely replace Russia as the alternative for non western oriented weapons in Africa.

As we still support our allie’s and friends with hardware and manpower, what did our allies to us? Withdrawing necessary equipments like Patriots and embargoed us. 👏🏼. It’s cool to have such friends and allies.

You can be sure that hundreds (if not thousands) of Turks are fighting in Ukraine against Russia. One of this guy is my cousin from Izmir (Special Force).

Sure but no further action until our western allies lift all sanctions, stop supplying pkk and take us back in F-35 programme without pre-conditions.

Turkey even providing Ukraine with Naval article (ADA class) as they are still in construction, something the west is very reluctant about before and followed by the UK by providing some coaster. And Turks had long doing so
