So far for the European solidarity! Nato/Western Allience have THE opportunity to crush the bear’s backbone in Ukraine, and all they have to do is provide the heavy boys. Nah, they just have to deal with the devious! Shame…

Greatest support for Ukraine came from the Baltics countries along with the Nordic that's including Sweden, Norway and Finland, Poland and followed by the Anglo Saxon sphere countries then France, Italia, Spain Netherlands and Belgium. But don't know why those mainland German speaking countries (Germany, Austria especially and Swiss) is quite supporting for the Russian some in the name of neutrality

Switzerland hinders supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine

Bern, citing neutrality, forbade Berlin to transfer Swiss-made ammunition used in the Marder infantry fighting vehicle to Kyiv. But, as the media found out, military components from Switzerland are already being used in Ukraine.

An unexpected obstacle to the supply of heavy weapons from Germany to Ukraine may be the position of the Swiss authorities. The government in Bern has banned Germany from transferring Swiss-made ammunition used in the Marder infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) to Ukraine.

A representative of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) confirmed the fact of the ban, the Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung reported on Sunday, April 24.

“Seco received two requests from Germany to transfer ammunition previously produced in Switzerland to Ukraine. Both requests were answered in the negative with reference to the neutrality of Switzerland and the mandatory rejection criteria provided for by the legislation on military property,” the publication quotes the words of a representative of the department.

At the same time, as noted by the Swiss Internet portal 20min.ch, military products from Switzerland are already in the war zone: the UK sent anti-tank weapons with Swiss warheads to Ukraine.

The British are taking advantage of a loophole in Swiss law: no special federal permission is required to export individual weapons parts or assemblies.

German producers are ready to supply BMP Marder to Ukraine

On the eve it became known that a subsidiary of the German defense concern Rheinmetall applied to the federal government in Berlin for permission to supply Kyiv with 100 Marder-type infantry fighting vehicles.

Heavy weapons for Ukraine. Germany changes position

The request was received by the German Ministry of Economy and was immediately transferred to the Federal Security Council. Now this body, headed by German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, will have to decide in the coming days whether Berlin is ready for a direct supply of heavy weapons from Germany to Ukraine.

According to Welt am Sonntag, this is the first such application since the start of Russia's war against a neighboring state.
...the weapons sent are not being used to invade Russia, but for self defense ......I say send them everything ......and, Ukraine has beaten back Russia before we sent massive aid--so it proves the aid is not the real reason Russians are losers

scholz is right, if the russians lose putin will do some sort of face saving action and that could be a small tactical nuke strike in ukraine

Russian would be found at dead end if ever use nukes nowadays, there is still countries who continue working with Russian nowadays, but using nukes to invade other countries is actually red line. Not to mention the action of British, French and US, as they already giving repeated warning against Russia, about they too big power who control nuclear weapon too.

Germans are acting on a hunch that the North will issue an EZ Pass for Russian troops in a fictitious future!

...IMO, all the Russian talk about nukes was a big bluff to scare the West........all countries not condemning Russia's talk about nukes, should also be isolated and condemned......before the war even started, Putin was talking about nukes !
....most wars are contained/etc......could Putin be crazy enough to use tactical nukes? sure...probable? no

At least Sir Boris Johnson had giving a very harsh warning against Putin to not use nukes in Ukraine soil, as Britain would retaliated against them outside of NATO policy. This foreign policy performance of United Kingdom lately is very good, they shown backbone for one of the Major Power
