It's not posturing. They actively and deliberately violated the Swedish air space. What happens if Sweden is a NATO member state one day? What will be the reaction of the alliance? These are the real concerns that should be addressed properly before taking in Sweden. I prefer a solution where the Swedish accession will unfold in a process, bit by bit over the course of a few years. Going all in now is rather dangerous for all of us, don't you think?

We have to be realistic. US interests are important and they have a legitimate right to pursue them in Europe. Having said that, we're the ones who have to live with the consequences of wrong American foreign policy decisions and I fear this NATO expansion is a mistake given the current geopolitical conjuncture.

From Denmark Piranha III and heavy mortars

Denmark will give Piranha III wheeled armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. This is reported by the Danish edition of OLFI.

It is noted that 25 armored personnel carriers in the 8x8 version will be transferred.

Piranha is a family of wheeled armored personnel carriers developed by the Swiss company MOWAG. This is one of the most massive armored vehicle platforms in the world. The Danish army is currently being re-equipped with the Piranha V armored personnel carrier.

In addition, Denmark will transfer to Ukraine 50 M113 tracked armored personnel carriers and M10 heavy mortars, along with thousands of mortar shells for them.

Nothing new really, they do this a couple of times a year. Finns get it as well, basically a way to threaten and posture. Same thing with submarine incursions. They pair this with a lot of troll attacks on facebook and twitter trying to stir up fear. Essentially they are scared shitless that sweden and finland would join NATO because Finland would have a defensible NATO border all the way along the road to Murmansk and Sweden has Gotland, basically the perfect location for destroying anything coming out of St Petersburg or Kaliningrad.
