No idea if Ukrainian sources are reliable as klitchko in regards to kinzhal production, but this might be important if we are talking about chips.

ne of the most acute problems of modern Russian industry (and perhaps the most acute) is the problem of domestic production of semiconductors. New plant in Zelenograd. The construction of the new plant began at the end of 2021 on the site of the demolished two old buildings of Angstrem, built back in the 1970s. Currently, three new infrastructure facilities for the Russian semiconductor industry are being built simultaneously in one area within walking distance: - A new factory is presumably being created for the production of a 3-nanometer topology (by 5). This technology was chosen for a reason: 50 nm is today's limit for the qualitative reduction of logic elements on modern silicon wafers.

This is not a reduction in size, but an optimization that allows you to achieve greater performance and density of elements within a topology of 28 nm.

By October, the structures of several floors were erected. The builders went to the level of the last floor of the plant. The construction of the plant is expected to be completed in 2024.

Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC), a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ), is preparing to start mass production of photonic integrated circuits and modules for telecommunications equipment. This was announced on December 2, 2022 by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

Photonic technologies make it possible to increase the speed of information transmission by more than 100 times, so products with their use are in demand among manufacturers and customers of high-speed equipment. The development of this industry contributes to the strengthening of the country's technological sovereignty. As of December 2022, a resident of the special economic zone of the capital is implementing a comprehensive project to launch mass production of photonic integrated circuits and modules for telecommunications equipment. The company intends to localize the production of optical multiplexers based on silicon technologies in Russia. It is planned to start delivering the first batches of products in 2023, and serial production in 2024," said Vladimir Efimov.

ZNTC is one of the first enterprises in Russia to produce photonic integrated circuits. Today, the development and development of such technologies is one of the new and most promising areas of the company's development. Work in the field of photonics and nanotechnology technologies is carried out by universities, research and commercial enterprises, but, as a rule, within the framework of scientific research.

In October 2022, ZNTC entered the Moscow intersectoral photonics cluster, which unites specialized enterprises and scientific and technical organizations of the capital. The intersectoral association was created on the basis of the Moscow Innovation Cluster.

The Moscow Photonics Cluster is the main base for the development of photonic technologies in the city, ensuring the country's technological sovereignty in this area. It supports the work on the transfer of scientific developments to production. As of December 2022, the cluster includes 40 participants, about half of whom are residents of the special economic zone of the capital," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

The developed photonic integrated circuits can be used in high-speed and energy-efficient devices for transmitting and processing telecommunication signals. This equipment is used for onboard equipment and ground infrastructure of the aerospace industry, as well as in the telecommunications industry for the organization of powerful 5/6G information networks, connecting users to high-speed Internet, IP telephony and IP television.

We have accumulated considerable experience in the design of photonics elements. Currently, ZNTC is mastering the production of multiplexers, modulators, dividers, interferometers and resonators. The first samples of crystals of the domestic optical waveguide AWG multiplexer, which provides signal passage in telephone and local computer networks and data transmission networks, were obtained. Now we are preparing mass production and in the near future we plan to produce at least five thousand products per year," said Konstantin Pevchikh, head of the technological direction of integrated photonics at ZNTC.

An optical waveguide AWG multiplexer is a device that allows you to combine electrical signals with various interfaces (telephone networks, local computer networks, data networks) into a single group signal, convert it into an optical form and transmit it over a fiber optic cable over a distance. ZNTC also plans to develop and produce splitters, tunable spectral and frequency filters, thermo-optical switches, modulators.

Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center has been a resident of the special economic zone of the capital for more than 10 years, since 2011. During this time, the company has invested almost three billion rubles in the development of production. The company employs 190 people," said Gennady Degtev, General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

Start of production of chips for industrial devices and robotics

Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC JSC), a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ), began producing import-substituting microelectronics for industrial automation, robotics and other high-tech industries. This was announced on October 21, 2022 by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital.

The company begins small-scale production of integrated circuits designed to control the angle of rotation in the control systems of various objects, including industrial devices and household appliances. Also, the development will be used in robotics. In addition, it can be used in the automotive industry, in electronic engine control systems, to adjust the position of the headlights and the angle of inclination of the seats. The company has been a resident of the SEZ of Moscow for more than 10 years - since 2011. During this time, it gained 3.4 billion rubles from the sale of products and developments, said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Enterprises that have the status of a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow receive additional support. They are exempt from paying land, property and transport taxes, the income tax rate for them has been reduced to two percent. In addition, customs duties are not levied on the goods imported by them.
Enterprises of the microelectronic industry make up the majority among residents of the special economic zone of Moscow. As of October 2022, there are over 30 of them. They make the most tangible contribution to the development of the capital's high-tech industry. In the first half of 2022 alone, the amount of their investments increased 2021 times compared to the same period in 15 - from 700 million to 11 billion rubles. In particular, the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center has invested about three billion rubles in its development since 2011, said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
The developments of ZNTC correspond to foreign analogues. When creating them, the company's specialists used their own technical solutions.
As of October 2022, one of the priorities of the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center is the development of technologies and the subsequent organization of small-scale production of competitive microelectronic products to ensure independence from foreign manufacturers of the electronic component base, added Elena Khakhanina, Head of the Sales Department of ZNTC JSC.

Launch of Russia's first production of transistors for 5G communication systems

The Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC JSC), a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ), will open Russia's first experimental line for the production of gallium nitride (GaN-Si) transistor crystals. This is stated in the message of the official portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow dated August 5, 2022. Such electronic components are used in the production of powerful power supplies, modules of 5G communication systems, equipment for servers and data centers, wireless charging stations for electric vehicles.

The company has invested about one billion rubles in the preparation of its infrastructure for the production of gallium nitride-based transistor crystals, namely, the construction and commissioning of a site for experimental production, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, stressing that "this is the first such production in Russia."
ZNTC plans to start small-scale production of microelectronics on gallium nitride using basic technologies in 2023, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
The commissioning of a separate production site, which has full autonomy and independence from the main production line, will make it possible to switch to the manufacture of products on gallium nitride substrates from single production to small-scale production, according to the ZNTC.
According to experts, gallium nitride is one of the most popular and promising materials of modern electronics. The development of technologies based on this semiconductor is of strategic importance for telecommunications, the automotive industry, industrial automation and energy.
The key advantages of GaN transistors are speed in comparison with products on silicon substrates, the ability to operate at high voltage. They also have the best reliability indicator," said Galina Anatolyevna Shirkova, head of the Crystal Production of the Zelenograd Nanocenter.

The average annual growth rate of the global market for power electronics on GaN-Si, according to the forecasts of Yole Development, in the next two years will be 85%. The domestic market for microwave and power transistors has grown significantly over the past 2-3 years, however, as of 2022, there is no mass production of electronic components based on gallium nitride in the Russian Federation.
According to Anatoly Kovalev, General Director of ZNTC JSC, the Zelenograd Nanocenter, together with technological and industrial partners, is already working on the creation of a fully localized technology for the production of electronic components based on gallium nitride.

2021: Modernization of the production site to increase the production of microelectronics

The Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC), a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ), has modernized the production site, which is expected to expand the production of microelectronics, as well as give start-up innovative companies supported by the center access to advanced technologies. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Alexander Prokhorov on June 21, 2021.
"The modernization of the site will make it possible to produce complex microelectronic products for power supplies, electric motors, and communication systems. The additional technical capabilities of the center will serve the development of the microelectronics, optics and robotics cluster of the SEZ of Moscow, which at the end of 2020 was among the leaders in investments with investments in the amount of 2.7 billion rubles. During its work in the SEZ as a resident, ZNTC has invested more than 2 billion rubles in its site. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, the volume of its investments exceeded 90 million rubles," said Alexander Prokhorov.
For more than 10 years, the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center has been specializing in the development and serial production of products in the field of nano- and microelectronics. In addition, the company helps start-up companies to develop: participates in the financing of their projects, and also provides the necessary high-tech equipment.
"The nanocenter is a full-cycle complex for the development and contract manufacturing of microelectronics products. The modernization will expand the capabilities of innovators to create new and competitive products. The task of the Zelenograd Nanocenter is to transform science into market solutions and finished products," said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
The modernization of the site opened up opportunities for domestic enterprises to access technologies such as 3D integration of multi-chip modules, as well as to the assembly of power and microwave electronics on gallium nitride and integrated photonics for communication systems. 3D assembly technologies are used, in particular, to reduce the size of devices and equipment.
The nanocenter provides opportunities for the production of electronic modules on a turnkey basis, said Anatoly Kovalev, General Director of ZNTC JSC.
"For small businesses, start-ups, student projects, the specialists of the nanocenter help to optimize design solutions, make prototypes and pilot batches of products. ZNTC JSC not only co-finances projects and provides a production line, but also helps companies enter the market," said the head of the center.

Russian missiles and drones are being intercepted at an increasingly high rate. Ukrainian air defense systems, especially in the Kyiv region, are working at an extremely high level compared to where they several months when Russia was able to strike with impunity.

Now it's Russia that is increasingly on their heels in the exchange of missiles. Stormshadow and SCALP have been hammering Russian rear positions recently and Russian air defense has been extremely slow in adapting.

Russian Telegram in shambles.

@Gary In 2018 missile strike on Syria Russians didn't 'activate' their S-400 to engage Western strike package.

So I wouldn't put it like that.
piercing through the S-400 defended airspace of Damascus and Barzeh.

@Relic Usually temporary command centers or logistics+ammunition depos are not protected by S-300 or S-400 batteries each.
S-300 and S-400 have had no answer for Storm Shadow and SCALP over the last week, as a pile of videos and pictures of deep strikes on Berdyansk, Melitopol, Donetsk, Tokmak, etc, etc have emerged. Ukrainians have been striking Russian positions with impunity, recently.

They threw a big wave of drones and cruise missiles at night with very low rate of success:

Probably to find out patriots and other AD, so they threw a new wave of Iskanders this morning, but failed:

The situation is not different from months ago, Ukrainians are targeting ammo depots, concentration of troops and command centers all along behind the lines, and Russians are just targeting civilian infrastructure, old soviet ammo depots and the only place that something interesting might be there, some industrial facilities in Odessa, including the port, where some aid crossing from the border of Romania could be there, even so, the amount of missiles for hitting a few interesting places is just embarrasing.

Not only their mighty AD and missile technology relying on western FPGAs like Xilinx from 80' era, their propaganda is also falling apart to really bad levels:

Past winter we were about to freeze in Europe because of helping Ukraine, today the gas is under 25€, to 2021 levels, as this is the moment when Europeans tipically start to fill their storage tanks, but it turns out that gas storage, in Germany for example, is around 75% while in previous years was about 20%.

Alright, even if I go play along with the users here that the S-400s are used to protect Syrian assets and not Russian assets in Syria the difference is the U.S. media admitted the Patriots got hit or damaged by a Russian missile a day later when Ukrainian media announces they intercept everything as usual, in which the Russians didn't state what that missile was that hit the patriots or caused that huge explosion twice on video. Assuming it was Iskander or Kinzhal that whacked it, I will give the benefit of a doubt that the U.S. Navy has far superior air defense than the U.S. Army's Patriots to maybe intercept those missiles but Zircon is still far superior than the aeroballistic missile that probably hit the Patriots with maneuvering capabilities. So the matter at hand is the number of new Subs the Russian Navy keeps putting in service along with stockpiling on Zircons. Lancets are hitting Ukrainian howitzers and ammunition storages every day while the creation and testing of faster turbojet kamikaze drones and MLRS missiles that track ground and aerial targets are at a close timeframe of setting production. Current situation in the battlefield now is Avdiivka where Wagner has their sights on next.

2nd tweet of today.
I have a feeling that nearly every user browsing this thread is super pissed off that Erdogan won. Lets see if Russia will help Turkey become a huge gas hub for other countries as his promise to boost Turkey's economy.
LOL... Kyiv's air defense is fine and is intercepting Russian tantrums at an extremely high level.

Also, your source is full of shit. There were not 3 Patriot Batteries sent to Ukraine. There was a Patriot Battery with PAC 3 missiles sent by the Uniteed States, a second Patriot Battery with PAC 2 missiles sent by Germany and there were TWO LAUNCHERS sent by the Netherlands to bolster the German system.

There is absolutely no evidence that either Patriot Battery in Ukraine is offline, or otherwise ineffective. The USA openly admitted that one of the systems suffered minor damage from a missile that got through, and that U.S. techs were able to get the system back operational capacity the very next day. Since then, Russia has attacked Kyiv with dozens of missiles and drones of numerous types and Ukraine continues shoot them down at an exceptionally high clip. Debris from intercepted objects is causing much more damage than missile strikes at this point.

Now, outside of Kyiv, Russia has more success with their missile strikes, because Ukrainian air defense is much more sparse and less layered, and relies on less effective, mostly Soviet made legacy systems. It's also believed that Ukraine is low on S-300 missiles, causing them to be very selectective in what they're used to intercept.

No systems in / near any of those places, that can intercept Storm Shadow cruise missiles? Ukraine is free to hammer Russian held positions in those occupied areas?

This guy is talking about Zircons, while Russian submariners are just hoping to resurface and not become the next victims of a Kursk type disaster, associated with corruption and the horrible maintenance/ upkeep standards that exist in Russia.

Russia has become a deeply incompetent country in a variety of ways.

- Their commercial airline fleets are terrified because they can't procure Western made parts and their population / airline companies have no interest in flying in the death traps that are Russian made planes.

- 25% of their population still don't have indoor plumbing / running water. They basically live in 3rd world conditions. 1/4 the friggen country.

- Their submarines suffer random explosions, while performing routine training exercises.

- They're banned from the Olympics because of an extreme doping scandal. They can't do anything competently or competitively on the world stage , without maximum cheating and corruption involved.

- They're losing billion dollar fleet flagships to countries without bluewater navies to oppose them.

- Their vaunted helicopter fleet has been relegated well behind the front, because everytime they try to use them, they lose so damn many that they have to panic and pull them back.

- They're pulling Stalin era tanks out of storage because they incompetently burned through their enormous fleet of modern tanks.

- We have video proof of their front line fighter aircraft using Garmin GPS for navigation, because their own built in Russian systems are so poor and obsolete in all but their newest aircraft.

- They've become a petro slave to China and India and can't even sell their oil for its intrinsic value. Instead, they're force to take what their "buddies" are willing to pay them. What a debacle.

- They've lost dozens of Generals and Colonels in this war, because many of their troops can barely tie their shoes and breathe at the same time, let alone make any decisions that would impact a battle. As a result, their command needs to lead from the front, as if this were 1823 rather than 2023.

- Their vaunted VDV and 1st Guards Tank Army, operated with such incompetence and lack of professionalism that they got ahinilated near Kyiv and Kharkiv and have had to be reconstituted multiple times, into a shell of their former selves.

- They managed to get $300+ Billion worth of foreign assets frozen and liquidated as a result of their own arrogance and stupidity.

- They were forced to blow up their own underwater pipeline, that they were so proud of, because they burned relations with the rest of the people of Europe that matter that nobody wanted / needed them for their natural gas anymore.

- And their once proud international ice hockey teams, are complete shit. I mean they can't win anything these days. All of their best players leave for Canada and the United States, as soon as they can get drafted and GTFO of Mother Russia.

Do better Russia. I fear that you've become addicted to your own embarrassment. You've fallen from a great nation, to a culture of losers, cheaters, extorsionists and petro slaves.

What a joke, "acording to Turkish sources" "I won't mention to not embarrass myself". What is a fact is 2000 tanks lost by RU, as there are visual evidences of it.
Kyiv should have plenty of Russian spies, they can take a photo from hundreds of meters with japanesse cameras, but instead they post satellite images where you can't see anything supporting their statements. "You can barely see a hole, so there was a patriot battery here before"

Why is not kinzhal used these days? If two patriot batteries were successfully targeted, then RU TV programs would be speaking about it for days.
