So Russia will not only restart the T-80 production line but assemble back the production of the GTD series gas turbine engine tuned up to 1500hp (previously 1000hp). Forecast for full production by 2025.

IIRC, the turbine engine was a source of headache that prompted the larger and better-funded Soviet army back then to develop the UD (diesel) variant.

Footage has been published of the first strike of the Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet" on the Ukrainian Stridsvagn 122 tank made in Sweden. In total, Ukraine received 10 such vehicles. The Strv 122 tank is a Swedish modification of the German Leopard 2A5 tank. The main change was the addition of armor to the tank, with tungsten, ceramic and plastic elements. A new fire control system was also developed for the tank. As a result of the Lancet drone strike, near Stelmakhovka on the Kupyansk sector of the front, a fire started in the tank.

USA 🇺🇸 is planning the delivery of an additional 30 M1A1 Abrams MBTs to Ukraine. Per usual, they send a small amount of a vehicle type initially and as Ukraine's infrastructure and ability to handle a new vehicle's logistics grows, they announce subsequent transfers. 31 Abrams was always going to be an initial batch. Whenever this next batch is announced, it will bring the total committed to at least 61 (two Ukrainian battalions).

Of important note, the U.S. Marine Corps just removed 400+ M1A1 Abrams from service, as they look to evolve into a more flexible, speed oriented fighting force. Many of those tanks will be made available for not only Ukraine, but NATO allies as well. USA has, approximately, 8000 Abrams MBTs in their inventory, the majority of which are in storage. Their active tank fleet is about 2,500 MBTs strong, with approximately 1,500 additional Abrams that could be field on short notice.

An American-made Stryker armored personnel carrier of the Ukrainian army came under attack from a Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet" in the Rabotino area of the Zaporozhye region. This is the first defeat of Stryker armored personnel carriers in Ukraine by Lancet drones. The quality of the video and the fact that it is not shown to the end does not allow us to assess what damage the armored personnel carrier received from the strike of the Lancet kamikaze drone.

I think German Skynex would be critical to defend those upcoming F-16s against these kind of 'effectors'. Otherwise, they may very well share the same fate.

By the time the F-16 came, the VKS would have been considerably better trained in this kind of operation than they are today. We'd probably see the VKS regularly fly inside Ukraine's AD bubble (with the exception of Kyiv) and deliver the blow.
