High-quality footage of a Russian FPV drone, "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky," attacking a Ukrainian 2S22 "Bogdana" self-propelled howitzer on a Tatra T815-7 chassis. The video was filmed in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. As a result of several strikes by "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" drones, the Ukrainian 2S22 "Bogdana" self-propelled howitzer was destroyed by fire. The wheeled version of the "Bogdana" self-propelled howitzer on a Tatra chassis costs approximately $3.3 million.

Two related news:
1. The call between Rubio and Lavrov, in which they were supposed to prepare the topics of discussion for the Budapest Trump-Putin meeting, did not go well:
"A source familiar with the matter told CNN, though, that officials felt after the Rubio-Lavrov call that the Russian position has not evolved enough beyond its maximalist stance. For now, the source said, Rubio is not likely to recommend the Putin-Trump meeting move forward next week, but Rubio and Lavrov could speak again this week."

this was followed by the White House announcing that: "there are no plans for President Trump to meet with President Putin in the immediate future."

2. The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed this evening's cruise missile attack on targets within Russia, which included the use of Anglo-French Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

We can speculate whether the US gave the green light on Storm Shadows to increase pressure on Russia, or UK/France gave the green light without the US to increase pressure on Trump for Tomahawks and concrete actions, but I think the UK/France would have consulted with the US before giving the green light.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 and USA 🇺🇸 are preparing a contract that will see USA sell Ukraine 25 Patriot air defense systems, as well as hundreds of PAC-2/3 air defense missiles. It's a multi-year contract, with the systems set to arrive in varying quantities throughout the remainder of the decade. USA 🇺🇸 is open to European countries that are already in the queue for Patriot systems to vault Ukraine ahead of them in priority, in order to accelerate more systems to Ukraine.

The exact timeline for the arrival of the new systems has not been released. It's believed that the first new Patriot systems will begin to arrive throughout 2026.

When Ukrainian officials talk about a strike on Russian territory, they mean "old" Russian territories—internationally recognized ones. It appears Kyiv has admitted for the first time that it attacked Russia with the missiles you mentioned.
This is a new reality that Putin will have to come to terms with.

Now, after the White House announced the cancellation of the Trump-Putin meeting in Budapest, I believe a new situation has emerged in which Washington can provide Kyiv with Tomahawk missiles and permission to launch them to full depth. After all, if the Russians tolerate Storm Shadu and Scalp attacks, why shouldn't they tolerate Tomahawks?! How is Chingachgook's axe any worse?! :)

Well, yes, Trump's mood is like autumn weather: it's unclear whether it will be sunny or rainy:rolleyes:

Rare footage of a close-in strike by a Russian Italmas heavy kamikaze drone in Ukraine's Sumy region. The video shows an Italmas drone strike in Sumy, filmed by a local resident. Italmas drones remain rare.
