Two announcements surrounding aid for Ukraine today.
The Netherlands
has decided to roll $820 million usd of unused funds from their 2025 military budget into Ukrainian defense aid in 2026. The extra funds will be earmarked for purchases from the USA
via the PURL initiative. $820 million usd is not insignificant. It's nearly enough to purchase 2 PURL packages (an entire month's worth of supplies). The Dutch are planning on spending approximately $4.1 Billion usd on Ukraine's defense in 2026.

Meanwhile, the United States
will spend $400 million additional usd on USAI for Ukraine in 2026. The funding will largely be spent on logistics, funding shipments and transit of PURL packages and weapons purchased from the USA to Ukraine.
