The plane with a satellite on board took off from Boryspil to Budapest, and on December 12 it is due to arrive in the United States.


on December 8, a Turkish Airlines cargo plane with the Ukrainian space satellite Sich-2-30 on board took off from Boryspil airport. The press service of the Boryspil airport reports.

"Today at 11:27 am, a Turkish Airlines cargo plane with the Ukrainian Sich-2-30 spacecraft on board took off from Boryspil International Airport," the message says.

The SICH-2-30 satellite was developed and manufactured by the Yuzhnoye design bureau named after M.K. Yangel.

The plane took off for Budapest, on December 12, it is due to arrive at Miami International Airport in the United States.

The satellite will be flown to Kennedy Space Center for launch preparation and docking with SpaceX's Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

The launch of the Ukrainian satellite is scheduled for January 10, 2022.

In the United States, work will be carried out to prepare the satellite for launch, which is scheduled for January 10, 2022.

Ukraine on Sunday, December 5, sent its satellite Sich-2-30 to the United States, which is planned to be launched into space in January. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Dnieper customs.

"The customs formalities have been completed and the Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-30 has been sent to the United States without deviations from the schedule. The satellite was made in the Dnieper within the framework of the National Space Program of Ukraine," the message says.

According to the head of the State Space Agency Vladimir Taftay, already in the United States, work will be carried out to prepare the satellite for launch.

On January 10, 2022, it is planned to launch from Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA).

Earlier it was reported that the Sich-2-30 satellite, manufactured at the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau in the city of Dnipro, was successfully tested. Before that, the Sich-2-30 satellite received its own orbit and frequency from the International Telecommunication Union.

In the Dnieper design bureau Yuzhnoye, the Sich-2-30 satellite has successfully passed tests and will soon be sent to the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral in the United States. This was announced by the head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Volodymyr Taftay.

"The Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-30, manufactured at the Yuzhnoye design bureau in the city of Dnepr, has successfully passed all the planned tests and is ready to be sent to the launch base at Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA)," the message says.

It is reported that the shipment from the Dnieper to the United States will take place in the coming days. In the United States, work will be carried out to prepare the satellite for launch and docking it with a launch vehicle.

The launch of the satellite is scheduled for January 10, 2022.
