Taliban statement on recent events:
1 - Our rapid advance is the sign of our popularity and God's wish.
2 - No one should be worried about their security, we will protect the lives and properties of all Afghans.
3 - Taliban fighters should be mindful of protecting public property.
4 - General amnesty has been declared, it includes all those who worked with the government or the occupying powers.
5 - Military personnel and civilians who join the Taliban will be employed to serve the nation.
6 - In areas controlled by the Taliban people should continue with their normal lives. No one should think about leaving, the country needs you.
7 - Do not believe in the propaganda against us.
8 -We respect private property - protecting it and the lives of the people is our duty.
9 - All refugees should return to their homes, we will protect them.
10 - No member of the Taliban, will enter anyone's house without permission.
11 - If the enemy deploys people to do harm in the name of the Taliban, people should report them.
12 -Our message to business : return to your businesses, we will create the right atmosphere for you.
13- We assure our neighbors, there will be no action against them from us, all diplomats, embassies, and consulates will be safe and protected.
