Some good news from Pakistan.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said on Monday the Afghan Taliban had reassured the government that the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) would not be given permission to operate in Afghanistan against Pakistan.
With regards to Taliban V.01 and their handling of America after 9/11 while it is true USA was behaving like a raging bull - I am sure most people will be aware Pakistan was threatened by USA - 'bomb you to stone age' but the fact is Taliban failed to handle the raging bull in the appropriate and prudent manner they should have knowing the consequences.
OBL had been already for few years on American radar. By 2000 the Americans had bombed Sudan and driven PBL out of that country. There are over two dozen Arab countries yet not one was prepared to give hom refuge. The reason was simple. OBL was a Saudi citizen of Yemeni Arab heritage but no Arab country could risk or afford to give refuge to him in fear of the deadly consequences.
Yet, one of the most poorest and vulnerable countries on earth, Afghanistan decided to give him refuge. To use the English idiom Afghanistan needed OBL like 'need to have hole in head'. The moment Taliban gave him refuge they had sealed the lives of half million Afghan babies, children and citizens. As a government they had no right to place their country at risk for sake of a Arab.
We can slice and dice about the exact nature of negotiations but this alone is enough. If any of you were driving your car with your family would you guys pick up a hitchhiker knowing he is wanted by the police and by placing your family adjacent to him you might make your kids collateral dam,age in a police shootout?

Tajikistan is small player and entirely depends on Russians to even guard it's frontier. Uzbekistan is the key regional country in Central Asia. Tajikistan will go where Russia goes so we can expect Tajikistan to fall in line unless the Russians are up to something dodgy.

If one of the best countries in this world do things like this, what rest of the world can hope for.
Who knows what Afganistani people suffered because of "far eyes" and testing who knows which weapon systems on them.

Well they say the same, if Taliban crosses border then they can ambush, no double standart pls.
Through conquest & amnesty,
IEA got almost all Afghanistan,
including Andarab (not far from Panjshir).
& IEA got betrayed & ambushed
at Andarab.
Its like Hamas go to Israel &
do the attack there.
