Wow they are still using the legendary turkish and turkic crescent tactics surrounding the city first which means the opponent will exit soon or risk getting locked inside and this is what they did in the first blitz in the country side they followed the turkic crescent tactics by taking even places they didn't during their 1994 uprising era and now they circulated the country first leaving capitals and than doing the same thing to individual capital cities this Taliban is so different from it's previous on the tactical front it is like night and day..

They also not totally surrounded the city.
They allow some space to escape.
I assume they don't want the enemy to fight till die
cause of no escape route.
