What's the deal with Zala lancet kamikaze drones in UKR? An Indonesian YT channel covered it frequently but it almost has no coverage in western military analysis channels. Most of the fame goes to Turkish drones or Iranian drones.

Lancet works nicely with good accuracy, but is apparently too small to properly destroy equipment. Soviet-era SPHs (lightly armored) are attacked but it doesn't get blown up to smithereens, meaning that the ammunition isn't exploded.

A Pzh 2000 (better armored than Soviet SPH) was attacked on the move and it doesn't seem to have serious damage, although the vehicle itself stopped. Those equipment losses due to the Lancet attack can be repaired and put back into use like those in the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict.

Apparently, Lancet's warhead is either 3 or 5 kg depending on the version, but the reason they did not fare as good as ATGM is probably that they use HE / thermobaric instead of a shaped charge warhead. (The wiki states that there is a version that uses HEAT, but from the video available it's hard to say which uses it). Petir V-101 theoretically can be loaded with a 10 kg warhead, we should put it into service as the research has been gone for like 3 years now.

i guess the "igelpanzerung" composite armor on pzh2000 really works well against non penetrating high explosive warhead then (does the version received by ukraine installed with this thing?)

Just read about Detachment A, Berlin, US unit in the area behind Checkpoint Charlie during the Cold War. This very unit was meant to do the guerrilla war with German Stay-Behind Network in case of Soviet Invasion. This one also said as one of where Charles Beckwith went to made Delta Force or whatever it called. One of the real “forgotten weapon” also used by this unit and the so-called German stay behind network, the Walther MP(L).

The German stay behind network –In Italy called the controversial Gladio (jadi liar yang disini), In France called Glaive– itself was controversial because many of those here were ex-Nazi or its sympathizers, under also by an ex-Nazi, Gehlen. What needed from these people was they were committed to fought against the Soviet in case of their invasion.

Also don’t forget 21st and 23rd SAS Regiment

“East of the Rhine, NORTHAG forces would have fought an aggressive delaying battle. In this battle, a Special Air Service Group would have let themselves be bypassed and stayed-behind.46 21 Special Air Service Regiment (Artists) (Terretorial Army/Reserves - TA), a reserve unit with many World War II SAS veterans in its ranks was stood up in 1947 specifically for the task.47 It was later joined by another TA unit, 23 SAS, which was also formed as a result of a direct military requirement of 1 (BR) Corps. 23 SAS had its roots in the Joint Reserve Reconnaissance Unit (JRRU), a small unit studying ‘the possible methods of acquiring accurate battlefield surveillance and designating nuclear targets’.48

What written there as Bund Deutscher Jubend (I’m sure typo there, it must be Jugend) was looks like where the extremists, professionals and amateurs were met.

Here we have PP (Pemuda Pancasila) wkwk, become a joke now. As i said before, GMSos that close with PSI people (don’t get wrong, these people hate PKI and its authoritarian dream), also HMI, Pater Beek’s (or close with him) Kasebul of the Catholics PMKRI, the whole KAMI also had well connection with the Army. Maybe these could be called as Indonesian Gladio as a group(s), maybe also stay behind organizations if needed before during the height of Cold War in Indonesia.

If these wumao said anything, you can be absolutely sure whatever they said are either CCP approved narrative or at least pro-CCP opinion.

So if they say Indonesia and Australia BBF and that we are enemies, that means we carry potential obstacle to their interest and power, and that's good because it gives us reason to bargain with the West in our favor, including with or through Australia, for the sake of countering CCP.

Once more their tactics backfires.

in aussie side, relationship with indo is a political commodity itself.. so like indo-malay relationship
unless something weird happen then it is difficult to get comprehensive agreement in high level

although idea to have some kind of military alliance aussie-indo-sing is an interesting one.. their alutsista operate in our water

What bait is used? Pulau pasir?
That all of Aussie weapons only had the range as far as Indonesia, meant Indonesia is their target.

Anyway, what seems to be the problem with Malaysian OPV? Similar trouble with their LCS?

Tun Fatimah? Sudah diluncurkan bulan lalu kan?

The yard run into financial problems, they also need additional fund to finish the first ship, the contract was for three vessel btw.
"The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has taken over an offshore patrol vessel (OPV) project from THHE Destini Sdn Bhd, after discovering a number of “big issues” pertaining to the project, including the necessity of a RM152.6 million loan from the Government to ensure the completion and delivery of the first vessel within the year."

....

"TH Heavy, which is 64.45% controlled by Minister of Finance Inc-owned Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd, was delisted from Bursa Malaysia in September last year after the group failed to submit a regularisation plan to exit its financial distress."
