Just knew about interesting thing from my elementary school time film ‘Coraline’ that one guy there named Mr. Bobinsky has a Chernobyl Liquidator medal on his chest. I don’t think any kids my age back then care about that lol.

Speed 103 knot, cruising attitude and flight level (FL) 70.000 feet lol. In Indonesia, Above 13.000 in Jakarta Control or 18.000 ft in Ujung Control (until now still using old term for Makassar, Ujung Pandang) if I remember correctly, you not using term altitude anymore, but flight level. You set your altimeter to QNE, 1013 mb or 29.92 inHg.

Below that level, you set your altimeter to the QNH or altitude above mean sea level said by the control, can also using QFE or altitude above ground level but rare.

Edit: Even you can see that altimeter setting 29.92 on right–bottom of the AH (Artificial Horizon) or upper portion of the PFD.

From few days ago actually. Like usual Nordic politicians, from SAMAK, like NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. His party ever targeted by extremist right wing terrorist, his office bombed and its youth wing, AUF, attacked in their island. Stupid terrorist think, Norwegian Labour Party as Marxist-Leninist party like CPSU. So like CPSU that they support and even PM from this party made Norway one of the first NATO member.

Edit: This Tony Blair Institute is one of the partner for ASEAN BAC 2023, including in making of its roadmap.

Saya ada pertanyaan, berapa ketinggian-flight level- dibawah kendali FIR di suatu area?, maksudnya, pasti ada batasan ketinggian tertentu gitu kan yang mampu dikendalikan FIR, nggak sampai infinite space.

Nah pertanyaan kedua, dumb question tapi tetep penasaran, jika misal suatu pesawat khusus, seperti U2, lewat diatas airspace yang terdapat FIR tersebut, diatas ketinggian yang mampu dikendalikan FIR, secara teknis dia gak bersalah ya? flight level above FIR authority itu seperti tempat tanpa hukum?

I’m not gonna explain about FIR though, that’s just too much for me lol. Urutannya aja ya, kalo bandara gede kayak Soetta gitu pertama kontak sama Soetta Delivery dulu, dapet approval, Soetta ground, masuk runway itu udah sama Soetta tower, dah di ketinggian berapa Jakarta Approach, tinggi lagi Jakarta Control. Itu beda-beda frekuensi radio nya, kita ngomong sama orang beda juga.

Kalo bandara kecil biasanya langsung tower aja. Contoh Cakra Tower (Cirebon), sampe vicinity bandara, Timur gatepoint Karangsambung, Barat CA (Charlie Alpha, Radio Aid Navigation di Cirebon arah Indramayu) altitude 2000 ft di transfer ke Kerta Tower. Harusnya Cakra itu Airspace Tipe C sampe 4000 ft, tapi gatau cuma sampe 2000 ft.

Kalo militer dah kayak U-2 terbang ngintai gak nyetel transponder pasti wkwk, ATC sipil gak liat apa-apa. Untuk ngeliat yang gak pake transponder gitu pake radar militer, bener-bener kayak ekolokasi kelelawar tapi pake gelombang radio.

jadi, ada 2 insight baru for me,
1.sistemnya komunikasi dan control pesawat dengan ground itu sifatnya oper operan, dan ngopernya pun belapis.
2. yang ATC baca di layar itu sebenernya transponder bukan radar, ya mungkin ada radar untuk sampai jarak tertentu tapi mainly itu ngebaca transponder

Kalau misal seperti semacam di PNG ya mungkin bisa dibilang tanpa hukum, ya ada sih tapi belum tentu untuk bisa mempolicykan.
Masak cuman dimarahi lewat radio? Mau intercept atau di dor juga ...... pake apa.
