Did i accidentally spill sungur naval though? i kept using that with force of habit; either i am an insider or my wishes keep coming true :p
I'm here hoping that some of @UkroTurk 🚬 luck spills on you and SSB reveals Naval-Sungur :). It pretty much sounded like Naval version of 122mm Sakarya crammed into a small body :D

Well, missiles in LEVENT are the Sungur ER missiles.
so your wish is granted.
As this is going to be our RAM alternative, the missiles should have around 10 km range.

Is that a full size mock up ? It looks very awesome. I recall that we've discussed that there are other similar missiles that have a longer range despite having similar/same size.

Would we need a better propulsion system or more energy efficient to achieve longer range ?

Levent Block-1 has Passive RF guidance similar to RAM Block 1, Levent Block-2 has RF+IIR similar to RAM block 2. Levent Block 1 will be available very soon. Levent Block 2 will be available in two years. Levent system is based on Sungur missile and it is a cost-effective solution. (RAM is insanely expensive)
Levent Block 1 uses sensors onboard a ship so it can't be used as a standalone system. Levent Block 2 will have its own sensors(similar to SeaRAM) so it can be used standalone.

You are confusing it earlier blocks used in development stage, even block-0 had dual mode seeker.

For further details just refer to here;

The difference is not about the missiles, but the architecture of the system; standalone or dependent on host.

Bro absolutely it doesn't need longer range as it is point defence SAM. (SAGE) Designer absolutely knows its shit.

I'm kinda "VAY AMK"

BTW Sungur-ER is based on Sungur not Bozdoğan.
Check the picture closely before making conclusions, Sungur-N is the IIR only variant and different from ER (that you will hear difference if it is made available in brochures), RAM equivalent has a larger diameter near to the bozdoğan.

I would rather believe General Director of Roketsan and Roketsan representatives than you. Bozdoğan is not a Roketsan product and Roketsan doesn't have rights and ability to make design changes on Bozdoğan because Tubitak designed it and Tubitak has the data package even if data package is transferred via SSB it is not easy to make design changes. Similarly, SOM is produced by Roketsan but all design changes and tests are done by Tubitak SAGE. Sungur-ER is based on Sungur. Stop spreading false information.

. Stop spreading false information.
Who is spreading false information here?
Me who is telling there are 2 missile in the picture one being in the same caliber with Bozdoğan?
Or you who is telling the missiles are both Sungur N and is Sungur-ER?

Look at the picture of Levent, it is all around in the forum. You in fact can stop misleading people with false information.
I can bet you even haven't listened to Roketsan's CEO live.

IDEF 2021: Ulaq evolves and accelerates

Ares Shipyard CEO says that the first Ulaq USV should be delivered by the end of 2021, and a foreign customer is interested in the anti-submarine warfare variant.

Ares Shipyard exhibited models of its unmanned vessel solutions on 17 August during the first day of the IDEF 2021 exhibition in Ankara, with the Ulaq armed USV to the fore.

Speaking to Shephard, Ares CEO Ozgun Utku Alanc emphasised that the model prototype Ulaq on display at IDEF represents one element of an eponymous family of USVs.

‘In the Denizkurdu-2021 exercise this year, we completed missile firing tests on the Ulaq prototype and certified it suitable for mass production,’ he said. ‘Following the completion of the firing trials, we dismantled the launcher and fitted the drone with an RWS [remote weapon station] armed with a 12.7mm gun. We are planning to conduct live-firing tests in September.’

Turkish defence procurement agency SSB recently issued an RfP for two unmanned vessels, one for harbour defence and the other for surface warfare. Alanc noted that Ares has ‘gained a lot of experience, particularly in surface warfare’ and the company will respond to the RfP, adding: ‘There will be no bulk supply, therefore prototyping will be done here.’

Alanc said that Ares intends to complete development of the initial Ulaq prototype in time for delivery to the Turkish Naval Forces ‘before the end of the year’. He claimed that the USV ‘went the greatest distance ever and returned to the port with full autonomy during the monitoring mission we did in the Atmaca guided-missile acceptance firings in June of this year’.

However, certain ‘configuration adjustments’ to the existing Ulaq prototype will be necessary to meet Turkish naval requirements, Alanc acknowledged.

Ares in May announced development of an anti-submarine warfare variant of Ulaq. Design work is now complete on this USV and Alanc said it is ready for manufacturing.

‘We are aware of our country's requirements in this respect, and we are also in discussions with a country that is interested in this product,’ he added, without divulging further information.

The ASW version will be available in two configurations, one capable of launching torpedoes and the other with more defensive equipment. Alanc said the latter USV will be equipped with a ‘water bomb and an anti-diver system to protect ports and platforms in littoral waters against midget submarines and saboteur divers’.

While he could not give a timetable for production of the ASW version, Alanc said Ares aims to begin by Q4 2021.

Ares also plans to develop commercıal variants of Ulaq, with Alanc highlighting an unmanned search and rescue (SAR) craft.

‘When a boat sinks, especially in bad weather, coast guard vessels may be unable to reach it,’ he pointed out. ‘These unmanned boats will be moved to the locations where the ships sank by backing up the life rafts and will aid rescue efforts by opening the life rafts there.’

Janes understands that the Albatros-S is also unarmed in its current state of development, and there are no plans by Aselsan to incorporate armaments.

--

Is that correct? and if so why?

These are called technology demonstration and development. Later these technologies are integrated into a real USV that are designed for action.
Aselsan already teams with Seft, Sefine and Armelsan for the USV.

Within the scope of the project, which continues in cooperation with ASELSAN and Sefine Shipyard , the construction of the unmanned surface warfare vehicle continues rapidly at the shipyard.
