NB coded one (ASW) will be launched in 2022 Q1.@Anmdt any news about these?
I would rather expect that, the UMTAS is only a placeholder and eventually they will equip these USVs with Kuzgun or Roketsan's NLOS.It's fantastic that Aselsan is willing to provide the necessary systems while competing as well!
I would also like to see these in the inventory (Or something along these lines) :I would rather expect that, the UMTAS is only a placeholder and eventually they will equip these USVs with Kuzgun or Roketsan's NLOS.
The armed ones will also be used by LSTs and the LHD to assist amphibious operations and to clear and secure the beaches / do laser pointing for SAL guided artillery missiles. We don't need to wait long for these.I would also like to see these in the inventory (Or something along these lines) :

“We would like to express with great pride and happiness that we have successfully completed all tests including the firing tests with the 12.7mm weapon system of armed unmanned surface vehicle, ULAQ-AUSV. We are aware of how important the ULAQ Unmanned Surface Vehicle is in the protection of sea borders, naval bases, ports and critical facilities. In this context, we continue our intensive activities to integrate new systems to ULAQ within the scope of different requirements.”
Built since the 1930s, the 0.50" (12.7 mm) caliber Browning Machine Gun (BMG) M2 (Ma Deuce) is still one of the world's most widely used heavy machine guns. Employed today on many USN ships for action against hostile small surface craft and commando-type attacks which might occur in restricted waters.
This gun was initially designed near the end of World War I as an aircraft weapon. The design was modified for land use after the war and then designated as the Model 1921 machine gun. In 1932 the design was modified again and this design became the M2. The M2HB (HB = Heavy Barrel) version, introduced during World War II, is the most widely used model today and denotes guns using a thicker, air-cooled barrel, which was adopted in order to increase barrel life.
