Jezus Christ this is just absolutely depressing to see. Many have criticized America's reckless wars but seeing the consequences of their withdrawal almost makes it seem justified. I would rather live in an occupied American led country then be subjected to the disgusting subhuman Taliban apes and their deathcult-like idealogy of their governance. My heart goes out to all these people and the woman in particular.

This is why I say thank God for Ataturk, Secularism and strong+deep Turk identity (well past religion).

It is the biggest bulwark against this medieval savagery and barbarism.

I mean you and others have mentioned repeatedly what the Islamists, neo-Islamists et al have been trying to do regardless in Turkey.

Imagine if there was no bulwark against it and the gates are thrown open.

I praise Turkic conquests and occupations maybe Im hypocritical here.

But human instincts is real. Not one would tolerate being ruled by a foreign occupation.

So how would the average Uzbek, Turkmen or Tajik perceive a fanatic pakthun telling them what and how to do things in most intrusive way....at the barrel of the gun?

A local?

Children rights too. Not too long ago, the Taliban entered a school and killed a whole bunch of kids in Pakistan. The hypocrisy on display is astounding. While cheering on the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, the cheerleaders don't want the Taliban taking over their own lands.

Woah there fella...you've had too much to think!....The puritan islamist thought police are here to save the day regarding you and the other scoundrels in the kuffar and takfiri "unpure" larger miasma.

Please take it easy, sober up... and try to understand:

This school mass-murder lot are on the wrong side of the British-drawn border (Kuffar Kipling told fellow kuffar somberly why it had to be).

I mean what it takes to go into a school and kill innocent children.... beggars any basic belief in what is good.

So they're *waves the magic wand of hypocrisy* the "bad" Taliban now.

With this magical wand flourish, you can call them cowards (and worse!)....but that's just not proper or acceptable for the other side of the Durrand (like you the kuffar were attempting earlier alongside takfiri secular liberal muslims)....those you see are the "True" and "Good" Taliban.

In fact, its better you do what it takes to not even see the word "Taliban" in their (TTP) name...its all a buncha slander, posing, misappropriation and lies in regards to the glorious IEA or whatever hyper-islamist ABC alphabet soup name the good Taliban (they're on the other side of Durrand, see?) calls itself officially.

No "Taliban" ever tried to murder Malala Yousufzai (wait-wait-wait isnt that a pakthoon name?...why this unbridled hate on someone of same tribe, young and defenceless?) either....certainly no Taliban leaders ever got together and decided to murder her in some "we were forced to act!" way....a 15 year old girl at the time.

Your "understanding" and hopeful "submission" w.r.t the Durrand line magic wand (and maybe more such matters under such thought police scope+sermon, the sky is the limit after all) is encouraged and appreciated!

An asserted nationstate on one side of the Durrand (new name and all!) after all has a constitutional resolution on its objective (*totally* signed off on by founding father, he didn't end up dieing on the "assembly" charged with "the constitution"....giving them some unholy opening to do what they after his passing).

A constitutional objective....based on religion..... (and its lovely scope for interpretation) on these most enlightened principles has after all done no harm whatsoever in rearview mirror....perish the thought of it continuing to do so.

So all their basis/intent/actions on such are to be further treated axiomatically (at their word and honour) w.r.t where something ends and where something starts.

Paragon of truth complex...and to be referenced only by fellow head nodders and yes-men "in the know".

Please get with the program!

Also for people who thinks there should be an ummah and Turkey should be it's leader.
And TRNC 0.0001%.. Those numbers are worrying except Turkic States and Balkans. And RTE is dreaming Ummet union, islamic country etc.. Who wants to live in a country like afghanistan? Are these numbers include women's opinion? If it includes then that is tragic.

It is funny and ironic that people conflate Islamism and Islamists (and opposition to them) as "hating muslims".

I suppose there are lot of self-hating Muslims out there....according to them?

Then the intellectually devoid make typical grandiose assertions and ad-hominem based on it.

Dude are you writing poetry, why cant you people just speak straightforwardly for once. It's a blatant fact that what's pervasive amongst indians today is hatred for Islam, not just "Islamism". Perhaps you genuinely separate the two, but these days the average indian isn't a passionate secularist in fact the majority vote for religious nationalists, thus you would be the exception.

As for your claim that there are grandiose assertions in my statement, and ad-hominem as well, well this is demonstrably a delusion of some sort as neither are present in my brief statement.

Also, I'm right here dude no need to talk into the void. You can just reply like a man.

The trade potential is there, yes, but Pakistan has never had a problem in any gas or oil flowing to it. The problem is how to pay for the energy it imports given the economic productivity it has, and is likely to have over the next decade, or even several decades. Granted, supplies from Central Asia are not subject to a naval blockade, but nonetheless, the basic issue remains.

In best of times (security + legal framework available in area), its headache for large infra logistics coupled with natural resource extraction (to pay for it)....in the hope that some of it is invested long term for something more sustainable economy wise.

It is why the US literally brought whole teams (on their time and dime) for that purpose during the start of gulf oil era....who formed pretty much everyone that mattered later in what would form into ARAMCO. The sheikhs were 100% compliant and did their expected end of it....all the while being totally dissonant (w.r.t application on their population) with American cultural norms and political ideals.

That said, given nature of oil and gas, it happened relatively overnight.

Transferring said model to central asia (and especially afghanistan) given the whole argument is more mineral/gem/ore based (w.r.t the 1 trillion number being quoted in lot of places from US geo survey estimate).....does not account for the much higher investment needed in long term civil engineering and extra logistics involved in it.

The argument as to what is actually a one time extraction versus actual capable sustainable productive economic sectors is a larger debate to get into past that.

This thread is probably not the time or place for it.

How many MONTHS is First Phase?
It's been 10 months. Almost a YEAR. Lol

FIRST PHASE means Serum Institute will give the VACCINE After India Has done Vaccinating every Citizen?

What do you think there India and Bangladesh means?
Bangladesh has Law that it cannot buy anything from a country without G2G or PPP agreement.

Next time you go through everything, make sure it makes some sense in you head.
Hahahha. For the nth time. Bangladesh isn't buying anything from a country. It's buying from a private entity. The source your quoted and the one I quoted literally says so.

"reply like a man". Because obviously a woman isn't capable of a reply. Pretty much the kind of thought process the Taliban would be proud of.

Nothing in that rant is correct. The US military must fulfill what they are asked to do by the civilian leadership in pursuit of national interests. That is all.

(Let us all also keep in mind why USA needed to go to Afghanistan in the first place.)

This is true.

Regardless, Biden (quite specifically him) has messed this up beyond all reason.

There was no reason to rip off the bandaid at this severe impulse and depth.

It is becoming quite clear now, he ignored and overruled pretty much every advisor and intelligence report afforded to him.

Removing the local USAF is one thing.....but he removed in one fell swoop even the contractor MRO guys for the Afghan air force (going against all advice)....hamstringing them in very basic way compared to before (regarding crucial air support for their ground forces).

Seeing what both Obama and Robert Gates earlier quotes on Biden have been (dont underestimate Joe's ability to F*** things up + He never got one foreign policy thing right etc).....combined with some mix of stubborness that he is falling upon as his "senility" increases.....the situation of what went on in last few months regd AFG (from US executive side) is becoming clearer.

Then he (knowing all the intel and advisors he ignored) lies to entire public 1 month ago that there will be no Saigon...that Afghan military will "not fall" etc etc....

When he willingly removed carpet from under feet of Afghan airforce like this in most basic way?

A huge amount of blame rests on him.

There was no reason for it to go down quite the way it has....this degree of rush and unpreparedness heaped onto Afghan forces....given there is nothing close to any guarantee extremist groups (of international reach) will not regather in the void left behind.

First you said Taliban don't have Laws.

Then you say that you are basing your point on what Taliban believes?

Taliban believes they have Law. Now what?

Someone give this guy MEDAL OF TRUTH.
No, it's that you have bad reading comprehension.

The US has laws against abuse of women. The Taliban doesn't, because they don't believe women deserve the opportunities and protections that they are afforded in the US. I never said the Taliban don't have laws altogether.

Understand now?
