We should ask ourselves what France's interest is in northern Iraq, now that turkey is making noticeable and drastic progress against the PKK, and considering at the same time that France is one of the biggest supporters of the PKK, YPG, etc. - even before the USA... unlike the USA, the french are more active in the background - how else could one explain all the fortifications in Afrin - which were demonstrably planned by french commanders and engineers and also supplied with french concrete?
The question is - is it a coincidence that France visits northern Iraq and opens diplomatic channels at the same time as the military exercises with Greece? Is that coincidence - or what do you think? should it be given more attention, or is that not unusual?
Your thoughts on this, please...
