While I wouldn't call it a habit based on statistics, countries like India do have a legacy of female infanticide and later foeticide but there are laws against it and except for some backward states in the North which form part of the Indus River system, the sex ratio is not as skewed.

Should NATO intervene? Sure, if the NATO countries run campaigns for education, give an impetus in any socio-economic form which prevents such a social malaise it should be welcomed.

I don't know enough about female infanticide and foeticide in Pak to offer any comment.

Its even simpler than that, just look if they go after China in the same way (esp given son preference in 1 child policy limit - compounding its demographic nightmare coming up).

Basic consistency is thrown out the window and it all becomes acceptable then...and whole different range of pleasant (yawn-inducing) language is suddenly switched to for explaining it away.

Par for the course given the approach to the uighurs too (compared to what this lot would squawk about if anything even remotely approaching that scale happened in another country...esp one they have some personal animus with).

Some of them will even accept that to be "Nazi" situation but hit a like for China relationship building anyway.

Tells you all you really need to know.

Its no wonder a number of Turk nationalists (like true nationalists everywhere) walloped a bunch of them in this forum already....openly....very similar to how Ataturk pulled up sleeves and went to town on this lot too during his era.

Of course China is to whom fealty is owed at the moment; so that's a complete no-go.

No resistance is coming from Panjshir (Shared by PAK accounts on twitter)

The Panjshiri people plus elders want no war and they don't want their livelihoods destroyed for a lost war from the get go. Even Taliban doesn't want to torch the Panjshiri people for no reasons
