The Atatürk part was amazing. He got 99 percent right. But he sounded like Ataturk was Ateist or Deist but he was not. Rest are true though.Kraut finished his 3 part Turkey series with final upload (final current one I am still working through).
Here are all of them in order:
It has been a very informative series for me thus far, good to watch to get some interesting details on Turkey's history (especially for the non-Turk).
Would appreciate to hear any comments/discussion/debate on stuff he has presented here if anyone is interested in watching it or has watched it already etc. It might take while to watch it all though if you haven't....but I found it quite well done overall.

Be it feminism, democracy oe any system, be it foreign or native, it must be formed from within the people. You cannot import systems which underwent their specific evolutionary growth and then dump them into completely foreign environments. All systems must be formed from within and when they do, they may be extremely different from the systems placed in the world but will be more adaptable and changeable and be acceptable.
The most classic example i have seen is the western form of exclusive secularism and the inclusive form which you witness in Asian history
This may be exactly the opposite, as far as the recent developments in India are concerned. There is a good case for opposing the inheritance of the past and for eradicating these in favour of progressive elements.
Secularism, incidentally, is precisely such a case. It is a combination of sociology and politics that has led to its undermining, but it has every justification to be imposed on an unseeing people and to their being asked to abandon their old, bad habits and divisive social outlook and come together as a nation.
