This underlines what I said. How come the Dharmics don't grab the opportunity to go to fastest growing economy on earth - India? The reason is like any migrants USA, Canada and Europe are the preferred choices.
Here is a fact. If United States offered 100,000 free air seats to USA and a free hotel waiting on the other side with American citizenship guaranteed to Indians from Kolkatta I would wager millions would flood the airport to get a free ride to the first world. This applies to any Third World country.
They call it economic migration. The Afghan imbroglio is being used as a cover for economic migranation with perhaps 10% being genuine.

in the long term my prediction is this. there are 2 camps currently in the Taliban/IEA. One who doesn't want to spoil the victory and the others are hardliners who don't want to compromise, this camp are from the Haqqani/Al-Qaeda veterans or supporters, also worth mentioning are from the TIP, TPP and ETIM factions.
Taliban could only play the balancing games for so long until they have to choose:
1.Either dispose the hardliners to gain international legitimacy (could be limited to China and Pakistan)
2.Accept the demands of international Jihad from the hardliners.
point no.2 will be hard to achieve and this alone could cause the movement to splinter.
if the Taliban can't control the hardliners, there could be conflict which could escalate into war, and if the Taliban invited outside power to help them curb dissent, they will be viewed as traitor and foreign suck ups.
Taliban leaderships could very well be in a position where they will fight a mounting islamist insurgency in the countryside while they are increasingly cornered in urban centers. In short a reverse play of the now defunct government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Might want to remind people that the people who ran the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan are once the insurgents who successfully ran an insurgency and routed the communists from power.

It's obvious Pakistan is desperately to garner a regional solution to Afghan problem. The crucial chips lie with Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan for the obvious reason that all five have border with Afghanistan. If all five work together nobody else from outside can really do anything.

ISLAMABAD: As part of Pakistan’s efforts for an inclusive political settlement in Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi left on Tuesday for a visit to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, during his visit the foreign minister will share Pakistan’s perspective on the latest developments in Afghanistan.
Pakistan believes that the neighbouring countries have a stake in the peace, security and stability of Afghanistan and the region. It is important to coordinate closely with the neighbours to address common challenges and advance shared goals of peace, security, stability and regional connectivity.
In the bilateral context, the foreign minister’s visit to these countries will build on the recent high-level exchanges to further intensify close relations. Pakistan desires to further deepen and broaden its multifaceted cooperation with these partners.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Qureshi received a telephone call from Foreign Minister of Australia Marise Payne on Tuesday.
They discussed the current situation in Afghanistan. Mr Qureshi underscored the importance of security, stability and inclusive political settlement in Afghanistan.
He said that it was essential for the world community to support the people of Afghanistan to address the humanitarian situation and also provide economic assistance.
The foreign minister highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate evacuation of diplomatic personnel, staff of international organisations and other people from Afghanistan. The Australian foreign minister thanked Pakistan for its assistance in this regard.
Mr Qureshi said that Pakistan highly valued its relationship with Australia, having several strands of collaboration, including political, economic and cultural.
While expressing satisfaction on the current level of engagement, the two foreign ministers agreed on further enhancing high-level interactions.
Pakistan’s High Commissioners-designate to Australia and Canada Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri and Amir Khurram Rathore and Ambassador-designate to Switzerland Amir Shaukat separately called on the foreign minister.
Mr Qureshi expressed the hope that the appointment of seasoned diplomats would help strengthen Pakistan’s bilateral relationship with the respective countries.
