I-Class and Barbaros is potential platforms for Nazar Lite.

"I evaluate that Nazar Lite could be first tested on TCG Anadolu"

this is a true beauty , sadly TN will have only 4 of this masterpiece

it would have been a killer if it have 32 vls , but I have someone here said that it will cost 50$ mil extra , but is that the reason OR the extra weight ?
Would the tf 2000 have land attack capabilities like the tomahawk or Russian subsonic missile at 1000 km +range ?

That would make it a true multirole destroyer

As per @Cabatli_53 ’s post, Gezgin Cruise missile that is being developed, will be deployed from TF2000. There is very little news coming out regarding this missile. But it is expected to be 800+ km range. We know that there were rumours about a good number of turbofan engines purchased from Ukraine for this missile nearly a year ago.
Either this one;
Or may be this one?

It is both the price of VLS + Missile to be accommodated and weight of them combined, another 16 cell would be somewhere 60-80 tons depending on the missiles and structural modifications.
But they seem to leave a provisional space this time truly and might be planning something for the MLU, at least in terms of the structural design, between the current VLS and the bulkhead (right behind of the gun) there is sufficient space for for 2 x 8 to be added, however that volume may not be empty but allocated for something.

Nobody hears a word about Gezgin, very hard to make any assumptions. Even they barely accepted its existence.
But it has been around since 2014-2015 or project has been initiated earlier, so it is definitely past the basic or conceptual stage. Since they have already got the engine morelikely they will conduct tests in 2022 or 2023.

TF-100, presumed future 5000 ton class with Cafrad Lite and 32 VLS would cost much more than that extra. TF2000 is very difficult project considering how it combines many different advanced national systems to one platform, requirements etc. Interesting thing is presumed TF100 would be less complex compared to TF2000. That's of course based on assumption on what Navy could want. But technically could be turned to an project before or near TF2000 timeline. Turkish Navy needs higher amount of advanced frigates, different types. I-class is very ideal for majority of the workloads. 2 additional I-class alongside would be great. At least, looking at it, we should be getting Ada-class air defense upgrade and like 4 maxed out OPVs along with the OPV program.

I do agree with your line of thought.
For a country like us and for our geography, having more I-Class ships and more 4500 ton class TF-100 frigates will be cheaper and easier to build. It would make our navy more mobile and active. TF-2000 at 8500tons, is a giant of a ship. Do we really need a ship this big? One has to think like a businessman in matters like this; Can we afford the loss of such a big asset? One TF-2000 is equal to nearly 4 Ada Class or 3 I-Class frigates. TF -100 will be half the cost of it.
These smaller ships should be given priority over the larger ones in order to replace ageing ships and to augment the numbers of our fighting ships. Then big boys can be built if finances will allow!

It is better to not talk about what is in your hand, than talking than what is not available.

Yet none of these will provide what TF-2000 will provide, not even combined.
TF-2000 may have a dedicated theater planning room to command a portion of the fleet from a single place in addition to the typical operations rooms.
If it comes down to loosing a TF-2000 then it means the sovereignty is at stake and the war will go all-in with all ballistic and long-range deep strike assets.
Also to note lastly, TF-2000 doesnt practically come to replace aging class or improve capabilities, it is coming to introduce new capabilities that Turkish Navy has not had. It is going to promote Turkish Navy in the upper class of the Navies.
