JP has a special program to increase their height, thats why they become taller now while many CNese , specially Mongol CNese drink milk since they were born, thats why they are as tall as Black and White people.

Hmm that's funny, i was born in 1979 born from a poor family thus not many consumes "healthy nutrition", my height 179cm and i am average among my same age friends, my oldest son, he is 13 y/o he's 175cm, i am sure he will surpassed me this year and will end up 185cm if not 190cm when he's 17 y/o, i am Indonesian by the way

Indonesia has many ethnic Chinese, are they taller or shorter than Indonesian native population? but those Chinese are from very southern part of China who are the shortest bunch in the Chinese stock.

I have several chinese indonesian friends, most of them are shorter than me or the same height as me, but there's one who have 195cm height, thus he play basketball for my university team, but he sure not as bright as my shorter chinese indonesian friends

I have several chinese indonesian friends, most of them are shorter than me or the same height as me, but there's one who have 195cm height, thus he play basketball for my university team, but he sure not as bright as my shorter chinese indonesian friends
I mean in general, are they taller or shorter than the average Indonesian native popultion? just curious, like to see how genes work if they are in different countries, I have a feeling that US born Chinese tend to be taller because of their westernized diet, mainland Chinese still prefer a large amount of vegetables in their diet.

I mean in general, are they taller or shorter than the average Indonesian native popultion? just curious, like to see how genes work if they are in different countries, I have a feeling that US born Chinese tend to be taller because of their westernized diet.
Older generation (older than me) have smaller height, but the same generation as me, we have similar height, but mostly natives are taller than chinese indonesian by small margin (5cm difference), but the young generation of chinese indonesian are tall, 175-185cm averages perhaps because of better nutrition on their diet

Those Indonesia men basketball team played against Thailand (men team), 98 % are native ( including the center and power forward and small forward, Chinese Indonesian Abraham Damar Grahita played as Guard).

The 18 years old women team played in World Cup in my above post also only has 1 Chinese Indonesian, Angelica Chandra ( one of the tallest), the rest are native Indonesian (despite the biggest one I see may have DNA from Dutch maybe)

Here Indonesian senior women team, also only has one Chinese Indonesian player and she is the shortest

In China, northerners are much taller than southerners even with the fact that the south is more developed and richer than the north, it's about genes, southerners just have shorter genes, in north east China, average height is no less than average Europeans, but in the far south, people are much shorter. Maybe this is why every time when there was a civil war in China, it's always the north defeating the south.

Are those northern chinese are a Han Chinese or Manchu chinese or Mongolian chinese or mixed of Han+manchu or Han+mongolian? I've seen mongolian have tall and bulky soldiers so i presume mongolian are taller in heights compared to chinese

The tallest province is Shangdong province, total population 101.5 million, ethnic Han account for 99.11% of the total population.

People from North East 3 provinces ( Manchuria) , are also pretty tall.
Heilongjiang province: 96.48% Han
Jilin province: 91.33% Han
Liaoning province: 84.92% Han

I see, are those southern chinese are han too?
I dated a chinese indonesian before, a couple of them exactly, there are this girl with Tung family name (like mao tse tung) with 175cm height, and theres a girl with Tan family name who is petite (150cm), are chinese family name show us from where their family origin are (province, south, north etc)?
