Ahhhh good French humour !
Yes its known to happen, rarely, but it's within the realm of possibility.

That's what I get using wifi with a Huawei MateBook D15 2020.
However with my other configuration this is what I get generally ;

I pay €49.99/month for 10 gbps in download and 700 mbps in upload. The €49 also includes a landline,TV services and Netflix + Amazon prime for free, quite a good deal for me.
Damn dude, what do you need that for if i may ask? Thats fiber i assume. That's what I get using wifi with a Huawei MateBook D15 2020.

My 1gb network is already getting bottlenecked by old HDD's and scratching on the capacity limit of conventional SSD's.
My record during download was somewhere around 70-80 mb/s from origin servers, downloaded 70gb BF4 in 10 mins or so.
You are very unlucky guy indeed. Your upload couldn’t finish a simple screenshot.my is not much...
I think thats generic, mine also says faster than 99%.Scary part is apparently 1% of France is still faster than him

@Vergennes my provider says i have also 10 gbit even thought i thought i have 1 gbit but i never had a speed like you?
And why dont you get around 9000 mbit instead around 7000?
Network provider probably brought the hardware potential for it...but did you fork out the extra moolah for a new faster plan?
(I'm operating under assumption of how they screw us here in great white north, maybe you euros have it all fancy auto-upgraded without having to give an extra dime...but it takes some time?)
You’re right. Passing to 10 gb from 1 gb requires hardware upgrades to use with its full potential which will be quite expensive. We directly got the 10gbps in our area, maybe because the fiber deployment was quite recent.. (~1 year) However I've read others had to connect a module to their internet box which the ISP provided and the ISP had to make some quick configurations to the local fiber network so they could get the 10gbps instead of 1gbps,of course with no extra cost. You should probably look at it. @xenon5434
Of course to get up to 10gbps you must get an optimal setup with a 10gb network card etc... To be honest the maximum I've seen was 8gbps.
Guess I should complain to them, where are my extra 3gbps,lel.
No i made a new subscription for it once fiber was available. I made the speed test multiple times and never went above 900 something, i thought thats how 10 gbit is being calculated.Network provider probably brought the hardware potential for it...but did you fork out the extra moolah for a new faster plan?

*Garbled French bureaucracy noises*
I have to check if my motherboard supports 10 gbit but it woild be strange if it doesnt its a pretty recent hogh end mobo from 2018.We directly got the 10gbps in our area, maybe because the fiber deployment was quite recent.. Could be your network card, i am not quite sure too@Vergennes my provider says i have also 10 gbit even thought i thought i have 1 gbit but i never had a speed like you?

I dont believe in a scam either though its really strange.
