Recently we have heard the good word-bending by official from Sedef Shipyard in Saha Expo.

They have explicitly told:

"The ship will be delivered to Navy, if they accept it."

They are on verge of complaining of the Navy for not accepting the ship thus trying to establish a political pressure to deliver vessel on time.

The sea trials and on board systems, with some more additions are in fact more than canberra or juan carlos, only title of operations to be conducted the sea trials are occupies A4 sized document that can be called a book. Imagine the 'items' in the list which some lasts long for hours or days or requires switching run and some can not be done simultaneously. The estimated schedule for the sea trials excluding a last visit to the dock for last repair and inspection before the delivery, takes nearly a year.

Now the word of "partial acceptance" is around for a while (i have also written about this earlier) the ship will be delivered in 2022, somehow, so that shipyard can avoid from paying the compensation but the commissioning will take time up to the midst of 2023.

Note: End of November, as of now the port acceptance has not begun that is needed to prove the ship to be sea worthy. The port acceptance shall be completed before the ship sets sail for the sea trials. Sea trials excluding the troubleshooting and the fixing procedure and the last dry dock visit for non-damaging-test of critical sections, takes nearly a year.

Adding up the port acceptance, sea trials, troubleshooting and fixes, last drydocking and commissioning procedures my estimation for a true commissioning is about July to August 2023.

Our bureucrats and high ranks officials should listen to their admirals and the PKO engineers in naval shipyard, not some businessmen that owns a shipyard. :)

MUREN WILL MANAGE SUBMARINES
@tubitakbilgem and the National Production Integrated Combat Management System (MÜREN), conducted by the Naval Forces Command, were integrated into the first submarines. The Minister @varank examined the progress achieved in MUREN at TGC Preveze.

Navantia once again, offers their F110 for TF-2000 programme. They have earlier done it in 2017-2018 and then 2019 through different channels (once with STM once with a private shipyard). And i am proudly telling, TF-2000s current design is well ahead of F-110 with her major design principle.

Meanwhile the post explicitly shows TCG Trakya was scheduled/planned and awaiting for discussion. and Navantia is willing to provide support for Milden, this time as a solution partner. Probably they have come to realization of the fact Turkish Navy will not procure a design or try to build their concept on someone else's ready design thus they offer being a solution partner and providing technical assistance.

Current plan for TCG Trakya seems to be rather a minor to moderate modification on existing design, yet we know how Turkish Navy is and the displacement will vary by 20-30% of the planned displacement (more than Anadolu) by the end and it will have certain capabilities that ACs have and design will receive a moderate re-design procedure, apart from being a modification.

How far has the Spanish come along with their submersed vessels, watching one of the streams - it was said that the Spanish had a lot of issues and had to revert to getting help from foreign countries. Have they come far along enough to offer consultation with MILDEN ?

So far i know their problem was the weight management, likely the designed weight didn't meet the produced one and resulted in the mentioned issues (a worse one compared to the what Type-214 suffered). The changes sometimes might be a lot especially when construction facility lacks the knowledge (both in size of the submarine and the weight, thus ends up in a wide gap).

In terms of construction, realization of a design (meeting the design goals) and weight management experience Golcuk Naval Shipyard could be ahead of them (In fact Golcuk has been sufficiently experienced, considering they have been building submarines for nearly 40 years). Looking at the submarine history of Spain tells a lot in this as well. They have tried to crack a code in a programming language they haven't known to exist and spent decades on that.

However their design assessment and test infastructure and experience on these is above our current capabilities thus the consultation might be handy, a lot of resources are needed for designing a submarine including the technicians and trained engineers, we are lacking this human resource as of now.

It may sound strange but both Germans and British also interested in aiding the Milden programme if i am interpreting those signals right. :)

Unfortunately, they offer customization up to a stage but TF-2000 is made for exactly what TN requires from the scratch.

Where would you rank TF-2000 design in comparision to Western/SK/Japan Ships (Destroyers/Frigates) excluding Russia,India and China.

How much would Milden benefit from Technical Assistance?

Milden could benefit from that in terms of detail design and construction planning. It may get Milden to the sea earlier (not in service but at least launched).

For comparison, it is hard to give a general rank. But it has future provisions, designed with a DIRCM from scratch so it brings the design up in a ranking.

excuse me sir

I didn't understand what did you mean ,is spain asking turkey to give up tf-2000 for f110 ? or for turkey to buy f110 to be part of tf-2000 flotilla ?
They have offered F110 design for TF-2000 project for years. So yes it is the first.

I don't think people at navantia are this dumb to ask turkey to give up a much advanced ship for the F110 , Unless the turkish navy will give up tf-2000 just to get F110 with Aegis system ( with assurance from the spain that usa won't object )

or

I remeber you once said that TN are looking for a ship between I-class and tf-2000 and by looking at the slow delivery of I-class , the TN might buy f110 ( not to be built in turkey ) . navantia built 5 corvettes for saudi navy in just 4 years .
