Bro,do we have rare earth minerals(nadir toprak elementleri)?
Bro,do we have rare earth minerals(nadir toprak elementleri)?
I dont think so.I don't know bro. I will make a quick search
I dont think so.
China has the most,Australia,Brazil,India,South-Africa,Tanzania,Greenland and the US have some.
Never heard of us having them, which makes me wonder why a facilty to ''produce'' rare earth elements?
Perfect.Yes, we have rare earth element deposits. Malatya-Kuluncak , Sivas-Karaçayır and Eskişehir-Sivrihisar rare earth element deposits are confirmed. There are also several other prospect zones.
Eskişehir-Sivrihisar and Malatya-Kuluncak deposits are very rich and might make us a big player in the rare earth elements game.
Now it makes sense.Minister Dönmez said, “Especially in the Eskişehir Sivrihisar region, the complex bed containing fluorite, barite, uranium and thorium is currently known as the most important REE resource with 30 million tons according to MTA data. With the exploration activities carried out in recent years, a new bed has been unearthed in Malatya Kuluncak region. We have determined that 13 different REEs exist in our country.”
Dönmez emphasized the importance of the success achieved in the REE laboratory in his written statement. “A first in our country has been achieved with a study carried out in only 2 years with a team consisting of expert personnel in ore enrichment, metallurgy, chemistry and analysis. With the study, cerium, lanthanum, neodymium, paraseodmium, uranium, thorium and Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (ANTO) with a purity above 99 percent were recovered at the laboratory scale.

MTA General Manager Assoc. Dr. Yasin Erdogan: "As of May 2021, we have discovered 22 thousand tons of uranium reserves. Recently, a total of 24 thousand tons of uranium reserves have been discovered and Turkey's total reserves have been increased to 32 thousand tons"
In Malatya-Kuluncak, 128.314,000 tons of rare earth elements with a grade of 1829 ppm, and 6.000.000 tons of rare earth elements with a grade of 1420 ppm in Sivas-Karaçayır were detected. Again, in the last period, 294.32 tons of gold reserves have been discovered in all parts of the country.

From the MTA 2020 annual report
"Reserves have been discovered in Malatya-Kuluncak field, which contains heavy rare and light rare elements, zinc, nickel, arsenic, rubidium, tantalum, beryllium, lithium, gallium, barium, strontium, cesium elements in our country.
First of all, Rare Earth Elements, then Rubidium and finally Niobium enrichment from the remaining solid phase were carried out from Malatya-Kuluncak ore." pages 89 and 127
“A FIRST IN OUR COUNTRY”, Cerium, Lanthanum, Neodymium/Paraceodmium, Uranium, Thorium and Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (ANTO) have been recovered with over 99% purity on a laboratory scale. (These are the news from last year)
Yttrium (used in lasers, microwave filters)
Dysprosium (magnets, lasers are also used)
Erbium (Lasers are used in vanadium steel)
Ytterbium (Infrared laser, chemical reducers)
Holmium (Lasers)
Terbium (Phosphorus, lasers, fluorescent lamps)
Thulium (Portable X-ray machine)
Gadolinium (Computer memories, magnets, lasers)
Lutetium (PET scanning detectors, high refractive index glasses)
It was purified to 95.4%. Nitrogenous environment was provided by re-dissolving and 99% purity Cerium dioxide(Cerium oxide (CeO2) is one of the preferred buffer layers for the fabrication of superconductors, especially for YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO) processing.) was developed.
lanthanum oxide (99.94%) purity, neodymium-praseodymium oxide was obtained with a purity of 99.10%. (page 129)
You can also see where these rare elements are used specifically on page 8 here. Guidance systems and superconductors were the most notable.
The project that is really interesting is the neodinyum boron magnets .. i hope it would be a successful projectNo need to tire yourself folks. "We researched and archived"

Excuse me .. is this a hydraulic press projects ? Can u some details in english illustrate ?
