No not like that, first operational TF will be block 10. So TF **** block 10.

Yup I think it should be Turkish name of either Eagle, Falcon, but dont use word like "Konrul", the problem is on "N" that comes in between, doesnt sound good.

Or just say it TF 23 is already OK, for the nick name it should be used as Nick Name. The plane name should be TF23, unless if you can find something beautiful like the word "Asena", TF23 Asena
Konrul is a fine name. Sounds very Turkic.

Why even use F for fighter? it's a Turkish plane.

We could use SU for Savaş Uçağı. SU-23 :)
Sukhoi of Russia, you need to differentiate from Sukhoi, hence

S-25 Kartal

Kartal / eagle being the strongest predatory bird's family name.

The MMU project is now in its 11th year...

- The targeted date for the rollout is in its 12th year
- The targeted date for the first flight is in its 14th year
- Block I's targeted date of entry into service is in its 18th year
- It is FOC, and the targeted date for mass production at full capacity is in its 22nd year.

Personally, I think the bird name should reflect the mission, so

Eagle, a very large bird with mainly ground prey would be nice for a large bomber.
Hawk, a semi-large bird with a mix of ground and air preys would be a nice name for a multi-role fighter.
Falcon, a super fast and agile bird with mainly other birds as prey would be a nice name for air-superiority fighter.
Owls, a small stealthy bird with ground prays would fit a smaller stealthy bomber, maybe TB2.
Albatross, is a high flying long endurance bird so some of the our future surveillance HALE drones might fit the bill.
Swallow, a small and agile bird feeding on insect would be nice for small tactical drones like MUIS.

So for Hurjet, I would recommend something in the line of TRX19 Hawk and for TF-X would be something like TRX19 Falcon.
X is some letter signifying the role, i.e. bomber, fighter, air-superiority, drone, ...
The number signifies the start of independence, and only for the 3rd generation of plane would use 23 to signify independence.
The number could obviously be some other important date but putting 23 on our first generation air-crafts it a bit premature in my mind.
Some of the names are already taken like ""F16 Fighting Falcon". When we have many F16 in service we can not simply name another plane as Falcon. TFX is multirole and the name Kartal/eagle encompasses different subspecies. The meaning is not everything the phonetics is also important and Kartal has a bigger punch in terms of phonetics than other names. I would care more about phonetics than meaning for a name for Hürjet too.

TAI should carry studies on deriving multirole single engine fighter aircraft from Hurjet. It is feasible when considering the common parts it could use with the ongoing MMU and modernization programs, long term goals of TAF and export potential.

First of all, welcome to the forum.
What you are suggesting is the logical thing to do. But in order to realise what you are suggesting, most important part to produce - the engine - has to be indigenously manufactured. We still have a fairly long road to cover on that.
We still have not got a working turbofan in any form or size in our hands, even as a prototype.
By the time we have mastered a working turbofan, other manufacturers will have been producing variable bypass engines and engines that will be able to convert from turbojet to turbofan to ramjets.
We will get there sooner or later. Let us hope it will be the former.

Thank you. F110 can be used for prototypes. TRMOTOR integration should be shorter considering that it would be an less complex platform. It is a good way to make use of early versions of the national engine. We really need additional platforms to export the engines with. We need to start making some of the money back in order for it to be sustainable long term. Similar with electronic subsystems. F16 modernization subsystems and early block MMU parts. Would be waste for those subsystems parts to be limited production.

The test section of ART (construction started in 1947) is 3.05m x 2.44m, generating a wind speed of 90 m/s. RÜZGEM, on the other hand, has a test section of 2.5m x 2.5m and reaches 100 m/s wind speed. We expect to get 180 m/s in the small test section of the TST (4.9m x 3.7m) and 180 m/s in the large test section (6.4m x 4.8m).

The DNW LLF in Germany, CARDC LSWT in China, TSAGI T104 in Russia, and Boeing SWT in the USA are wind tunnels with similar dimensions to the TST.

"Turkish Pakistani fighter"

Please, let this not be real. As much as I love Pakistan, the Pakistani state is unfortunately considered 'toxic' in the West. Any Pakistani involvement would be catastrophic for the project...unless we're getting something in return to create a 'deterrence of mass destruction'...in this case things would change.

Well, that boat sailed with Russia agression on Ukraina at least for decade, so that should not be particular concern.
For me this is natural step if it is official and frenkly speaking expect that more countries join into program similar like dozen of countries participated in F-35 program.
Also, one small advantage of Pakistan participation is their access to Chinese engines which could serve as potential safety measure and alternative untill your national engine become introduced and matured, i know it is not like changing car engine but still has some worth as possibility
