Better to build them ourselves, if it is only 60 meter class patrol vessels. We can fit our requirement per se, like less armed, heavily armed, more powerful engine, or prefer more economical operational requirement and so on.

Their naval shipbuilding sector whether its for the Navy or Coastguard are problematic. From the Kedah Class (NGPV), Samudera Class, LCS Maharajalela Class and now the MMEA (Coastguard) OPV.
