I hope this is not true. At least not for Akinci.

No offence to Pakistan, but what does Baykar and more widely the Turkish government gain from exporting arguably the most high-tech equipment in possession to Pakistan other than revenue?

1. On the flip side, all this does is anger India/ worsen relations with a potentially huge export market.
2. Has the potential to enter the hands of Chinese officials who will no doubt take it apart and analyse it to make their own domestic version. (One of the reasons why the US has refused to approve the export of ATAK-129, fearing Chinese possession of US engine technology)
3. Realistically, Pakistan does not need to possess drones of this scale, so Turkey has essentially given Pakistan a sort of propaganda tool.

The only justification for exporting to Pakistan would be the expectation that they would provide some from of nuclear technology. Though this is highly unlikely, given the legality of such actions.

Pakistan possess what Turkey doesnt
1- Advanced Ballistic missiles
2- Nuclear technology

Iam 100% sure that Turkey is already obtaining one or both of these under the table so that the West or Russia doesnt start bitching like kids

Moreover, the Akinci exported is probably of A variant since the first prototype of Akinci B just flew few days ago; thus, the most advanced variants are still within Turkey's hands

Both ballistic missile and nukes are 1940s technology and I bet Turkey has enough technical knowhow to develop both and your TB2 is most cost effective UCAV in medium to low range category. Pakistan can use them only on tactical level

The funny thing will be , Chinese will come up with similar copy which looks exactly same and selling in the market

exactly, its not worth risking all that time and effort to make such a drone if one can expect a copy of it to be available at a cheaper price once China reverse-engineers it. Especially after all the attention Baykar has recieved in the past few months.

1 who the fak cares? We are going to sell countries who have problems with China, so we should not sell them?

2 IF Chinese are not capable to make something like TB2 should stop making drones.

3 How do you now that they don't need?

Aren't Pakistani missile are known to be bulkier and in same generation of Iranian and north korean missiles .

Not know much about Turkish ones ,but one Bora missile looks a good base to develop upon specifications wise

There is no point in not selling Akıncı to Pakistan.
It will probably be the one that is powered by the 450hp Ukrainian engines.
Neither Pakistan nor China would want to get caught red handed trying to copy Turkish technology.
If that happens it will add more appeal to Turkish products as a bonus.
Turkey will have progressed to further levels before anyone can successfully copy an Akıncı plane.

This thread made me curious. What's the Turkish take on India and Pakistan - from a State perspective and from a general population perspective? Do they take a preference for one over the other?

Indians hate turks but we don't care about indians
Not allbut Erdogan policies has changed perception , earlier it was viewed as a good location for addition to travel itinerary , now it acquired bad rep here about meddling into our internal affairs , average indian with not much interest in international affairs may struggle to locate turkey on map .
