This administration of HMI is pro-government. There were 2 different factions of HMI before the guy name Raihan is became its head, pro-government Raihan faction and Muis’s that relatively anti to the current administration.

I can’t say that our government official stance of current Russia and Ukraine situation is same as this pro-government faction of HMI, but behind, maybe current government stance is same with this guy.

Well, since then Mr. Lafran Pane has inhereted the power of diplomacy and negotiation in HMI blood lines.

Its not luxurt, cozy, or neat. It just you need place to go home, develop, struggle, etc.

, @Madokafc, in your previous post IMHO. Local industries should start licensing Carl Gustav as a one for all tool to defeat armor. Not only its reusable but also have plenty warhead. Tho in some case. Buying NLAW or Javelin also important.

Local industries should start licensing Carl Gustav as a one for all tool to defeat armor. Not only its reusable but also have plenty warhead.

Why selling stuff when there is no demand for it. Production needs money, company spend money on Carl Gustav production line but there is no order for that, maybe just small number which not even cover the BEP.

To make companies to produced weapons like this, from the TNI itself has to change themselves first. They got a real plan on how the battalion level is, platoon etc, clear doctrine that has clear implementation including what weapon capabilities must be owned by the platoon for example.

From my perspective, defense procurements now is kind of like kaget-kagetan, has no clear plan and shortsighted. I don't know who is wrong there, the one that buy (MoD) or the TNI asked the MoD to buy that.

If defense procurement works like in, put NATO countries as example, they open the tender for their needs and companies can made up their of what they will offer. Here, it's like ujug-ujug Czech AR came, ujug-ujug dateng apalagi, it's also unknown why they came at the first place, like the procurements happen behind close door in smoke filled room.

Gotta pay some guy to fund their mining & palm oil expansion.

Maybe we can make Badan that used solely for defense procurement and works under DPR oversight if this really the problem. So the procurement is not done by the MoD but by that Badan. Or maybe make procurement as its own ministry like in Canada. But if not transparent too, that ministry has very high potential to become rat's nest wkwk.

In all seriousness and honesty, those T72B3 is actually a good and realiable Tank to begin with. Flaw in deployment and tactical fielding along with how they maneuver with supporting units must be blamed for the horrendous losses those Tank suffered in this campaign. Let those same Tank manned and crewed and deployed by the IDF or just say those Azeris, they would perform okay.

They would like to sold some Arleigh Burke to begin with, if not because of funding issue this country had, the weapon system set along with sensor is already being put on the table. You want some SPY radar? They already put on the table, you want some SM series (not the ABM capable ones) ? They are ready for Sales, you want some long range asroc ? They are ready. And i had said this offer since years ago...
