Well even for Japan, they need to take time too, for example of Mogami class, as they started the program design in 2015, selected MHI as Prime contractor in 2017 contract and only laid down the keel in October 2019. I would not be surprised if FREMM of Indonesian Navy order would only be started to be built in 2023 or later....

Some people in the MoD prefer Akinci for future HALE UAV after some brief description during previous Prabowo visit to Turkey. Currently, They are still tangled by BLOS problem here to utilized such long range patrol capability into real action especially their intended work place is over the ocean

I think using IndoSat would be sufficient for that case? If any of them supporting encrypted military communications it shouldn't be a big deal to adjust the SATCOM terminal.

I thought because of the design (138m) is been implemented already so there is no need for this complicated phase and testing, seems like we start from near zero this time.

Also what is the matter with lengthening it to 140 meter, why don't just stict to the original design already, it took this project more complicated.

Their work burden already high, that's why government keep leasing satelites usage from foreign services operator
