I don’t understand why SSB and turkish foreign minister are desperate to the death to left arms sanctions from Canada and the EU when turkey have already achieved dependency with the PD-170 and aselsan cats ? And let us not forget that PD-222 engine and aselfiler600 will be ready soon and according to SSBit’s much better than it’s wester counterpart .

either there is something we don’t know OR SSB are lying to us on the quality of it’s turkish product
Akıncı uses Canadian engines, Hava-SOJ project will benefit from Canadian expertise. We are not dependent on them it is not vital for us but things will move more smoothly and faster with Canada on board. In the end we will achieve our goals with or without Canada but we will struggle less if Canada lifts its embargo.

Don't sell them to Serbians because they are requested with the idea to be used one day against the Bosnians. I am not even mentioning that Serbia is Russia's lapdog and giving these drones to Serbia is like giving them directly in the hands of the Moscals.

Turkey should never ever do such a treachery and help those who want to see our Brothers in the Western Balkans killed and destroyed.

It won't happen, what will happen is that the Bosnians will get TB2.
Then Kosovo
And Albania

What if both Bosnia and Serbia get the TB2, would their powers be equalized?
Serbians wouldn't feel weaker and wouldn't resort to other means.
Remember that ammunition need to come from Türkiye, If they are on short supply then it wouldn't be much of a problem, would it?

We should sell it Serbia for sure, So Their neighbors will have no choice but to buy our drones as well, like @Zafer pointed out they will be limited by the number of munitions they have So we can profit of this as much as possible.

This purely about good old $$$ nothing more

You may be right but I would like to provide another point of view

If Erdogan refused such sale, then Serbia will feel even more pressured and will gradually ally with Russia which wants a conflict to start so that Russia can infiltrate the region and aid the Serbians in eliminating the Bosnians

IMO, Turkey should try to maintain a balance between the 2 nations so that none of such countries will think of waging war against the other. First, Turkey sells TB2s to Bosnia and then sells it to Serbia as a sign of goodwill; thus, both countries will gradually lean to Turkey and this will allow Turkey to be the one controlling the balance and not foreign nations like Russia

Serbia will always be with Russia no matter what.

Ottomans used Serbs as cannon fodder against Timur and the Crusaders.

When the Ottoman Empire weakened against Russia. Serbs quickly teamed up with them.

Albania, Bosnia and Kosovo can be pulled into our influence while the rest is a lost case.

Romania no doubt can be helpful as they hate Russians. Out of all the Balkan countries after the Ottoman Empire withdrew they did not engage in massacres or killing of Turks or the Tatars compared to Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria.

We seem to have good relations with them.

if we don't sell it to the serbs, they can go and buy it from alternatives like china. the results would be like turkey's s400 issue.

we can treat bosnia, kosovo, albania and serbia with privilege in this regard. As long as the military power balance of these countries does not deteriorate, there will be no problem.

thanks to our good political relations with serbia, the geography of the balkans is safe. we should not allow some countries to use serbia. we must keep it with us.

Serbs are an opportunistic race, they had fought valiantly against the Mongolians under Ottoman banner, but they have turned against the Sultan as the Sultan said no more pillage in a holy war. They were the ones to assist Ottoman troops to Thrace, but when they felt their homeland was under threat, they never hesitated to stand against the mighty Ottomans. Suleiman got killed in such a struggle. Serbs are unpredictable, you need to have a real tight leash to keep them aligned with your interests!

EDIT:Balkans are prone to more turmoil largely because of the Ottoman policies, and Soviet style unification is no longer on the agenda,

I am with you on this, I have no hesitation to say these words, Ottomans betrayed their own in the Balkans, and never looked back!

Serbia bought Chinese air defence systems apparently, just delivered today. If we dont sell, the Chinese will.

I think Serbia learned its lessons, they wont attack another country. NATO made sure of that.

Bosnians and albanians were much more accepted by Turks. We still see bosnians as our brothers just like kosovans

if we look at history, everyone has experienced enmity (betrayal) with everyone. we should not cling to the past, especially when our interests are at stake. a serbia under turkey's control makes the balkan region more peaceful. small nations do not have big interests. we do not need to be afraid of the handicaps of the serbs.

But mehmet is right we should have gave more to the bosnians. Also serbs fought against the Turkomans/Kıpchaks not mongolians under the ottoman banner Timur wasn't a mongolian.

Serbs now talk about being kebab remover etc they only killed Both turkish and bosnian civilians nothing more. Serbs are still proud what they did to civilians.

We should sell TB2s to Serbia. It is our product and we know it very well. If they use TB2 on Bosnians we can cut the support and we will probably directly intervene if they step up their shit. In that case, NATO will also be on our side.
