This is bad. I seriously respect Ukraine for fighting this hard till now but it seems that Putin is intent to not lose an inch of the lands he took till now; I seriosuly wonder how Ukraine is planning on getting all of those lands back when Putin is going to announce nation-wide military mobilisation on March 9?
Putin is planning to get all of Ukraine and Moldova to compensate him for losing Finland and Sweden to NATO; otherwise he will lose face.
Putin's propaganda machine (media) has also been preparing for such an outcome to the ppl
I believe that to all by now, We realised that Putin doesnt seem to care about sacrifices his army has to make; in fact, rumors are emerging that Russia is forcing Ukranians living in Melitopol and Kherson to go the front lines to compensate russian orcs losses

I think the most shocking part of this map is that China was generous enough to allocate some Russian land to Japan.
They already are stuck! Russian administration is just trying to keep a stiff upper lip.
Pressing further into Ukranian territory proved to be a far costlier option for Russia, so now they are on the defensive for the control of Azov and Crimea. And with everything they have got.
Western projections are based on this, in other words, how to push Russia off North Black Sea and the Azov. No surprises here, it all boils down to energy resources and Mediterranean and the Black Sea are the only remaining options for the West, at least for now. Resources in Russian hands, it is pretty much a dead end.
West is also stuck, as they underestimated Russia’s economy (and their donations to its survival), so now they are in no hurry, training and arming Ukranian troops as time passes, for one final push when the time comes. Proxy conflict may last for month, years, and l wonder what we are doing as the objectives get clear!

During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 14 enemy attacks on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Eleven tanks, seven artillery systems, twenty-eight armored vehicles and fourteen vehicles were destroyed. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary on Saturday, April 30.
It is noted that units of Russian troops are moving from the territory of the Belgorod region to the Izyum region. We are talking about units from the Eastern Military District.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on holding positions and striking at the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy inflicts air and missile strikes and fires at objects from artillery in the depths of the territory of Ukraine, the positions of our troops along the line of confrontation and in the border areas. The regrouping and strengthening of the groupings of Russian troops continues.
In the Seversk direction, the Russians fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of the settlements of Kondratovka, Yekaterinovka, Svarkovo and Belokopytovo.
Russian units tried to launch an offensive in the direction of Suligovka and Long, but were unsuccessful. To cover the groupings of its troops in the Kharkov and Izyum directions, the enemy is trying to deploy air defense forces and means.

West (especially the EU) acted utterly confused in their reaction, or miscalculated the greater outcome as the bear ripped off Crimea and Donbass. At the time, you will remember, European countries were still in search to cooperate with the Russians, especially in East Med.
However, West never recognized Russia’s fait accompli in this matter, and only postponed a possible clash, till no more. Take Karabakh as a prime example in this regard. Azerbaijan had all the right, and support of international law (despite hyprocrisy of some), to claim the occupied territory.
Europe still refrain from a widespread clash, but now that the bear has sharpened her claws, it is so acceptable if someone else do the work. They will definitely support Ukraine, till threat is neuralized, and Europe’s dependency on Russian resources becomes negligible.
Guess what, US and Nato seem to have a decisive game plan this time (claimed military aid is beyond ever thought of), I say we are not going to be waiting for too long to see an initial outcome…

My thoughts are west is not going to stop until Putin is removed from power and this means to recover all territory before 2104. Why ? Because you need now to enforce international laws and show the world what happens when you don't respect international borders and sovereignty, which is one of the most fundamental things for peace and a very important value after WW2 in Europe.
We are puting a huge amount of resources for helping Ukraine and this is not only for repeling an agression, there are a lot more things behind. While USA wants to keep pushing all of us wll do for a mayor victory. Think that only personal weapons and mostly old heavy hardware is being used right now from Ukranians.

Put this on serious Economical and geopolitical effect, thus make Back to 2014 Ukr border is only day dreaming (i hope i totally wrong).
We must knew, that either man power, money, munition has a limit. Look the progress of the war right now, there's nothing other than Ukr still losing ground.
The west is only want benefit for themself.
