If you notice, PKK supporters, Armenians, Israelis and many western media outlets use exactly these "arguments" to undermine the Baykar success.
As a Turk, I'm proud that this genius family had put Turkey on the global UAV map with proven combat success. No UAV had so much popularity as the TB-2 and that's NOT because one of them is marries to the president's daughter but because of a very clever design as a result of tedious research and development which took about 20 years!
I'm merely annoyed not offended by these constant ignorant remarks. AKP this and AKP that. You guys make the best advertisement for these people. No wonder we can't get rid of them.
The question that presents itself is: What makes you so irritated about Baykar's success, and does TAI need you to defend its rights or something?

The western media in general undermines any success story for Turkey, nothing unique happening to Baykar. However Baykar is the first time i've seen positive articles that at times that doesnt look to slander Turkey. I still remember the first 10 years of AK party rule, nothing but positive western media. As AK party was arresting patriots and opening all the doors to the state for FETO, the western media had nothing but good things to say. Even davutoglu who we can all accept as a fool today, was being promoted as the Kissinger of the middle east.

Generally when the western media promotes you, its because you are doing things that benefits them but harms the Turkish nation. When you are doing things in the interest of your nation and people they demonise you. Sometimes though in order to deceive the people, since they know people notice what they are doing, they sometimes demonise an action that is actually good for them, to make the supporters of that government support them harder. As with all things nuance is required.

So lets say the west wants the Turks to support someone in Turkey, their media will show him as a bad guy and the Turk will say he must be good since the western media is attacking him. When in reality thats who they want you to support. Like wise someone whose good for Turkey, they may show him in a positive light in order that the Turks go against him.

Anther trick they use is to start with something positive like "Turkish UAV's turn the tide of war" then as you read the article it turns into another conduit to bring the same slander against Turkey. The most obvious one being the genocide and slaughter of all Kurds. You can't read an article today that doesn't mention Turkeys war on the Kurds.

The narrative about the Kurds started several decades ago as "human rights abuses" from that they swung all the other way to claim the Kurds are being slaughtered by Turkey intentionally. As the Kurdish/PKK agenda gained traction with the invasion of iraq the narrative has gotten harsher against Turkey. Ironically those Kurds in the north were being protected by an american no fly zone that operated out of Turkeys incerlik base.

Their long term ambition to create a Kurdistan in out of Iraq/Syria/Iran/Turkey, if they cannot create that state their second ambition is to constantly use the Kurdish agenda as a destabilising agent within the wider region.

As the Kurds see their agenda being promoted in the media and the same media making them believe that Turkey is their enemy, it incentivises them to revolt against the Turkish state. Unfortunately if its not countered it will not lead to a Kurdistan in Turkey, it will lead to massive bloodshed and civil strife and since most Kurds live outside the south east of Turkey, they must work to educate each other not to fall for these american/russian/european and isreali games.

I think that it is a stealth communications extension
Well on every other 5th gen aircraft out there, it ends up being the EOTS. The shapes are identical too. So, I dunno what to say regarding that.

Do we have any idea how many of these things Turkiye looks to acquire?
Baykar (iirc) signed a deal which included around 500 jet engines, so yeah, around that number *with Ukranian engines* there will (probably) be models with TF-6000 engine.

So in huge numbers

500 seems insane. 500 of these things is a massive increase in Turkish air power.
